The head of the administration appealed to the police department of the village of Spartak, Fedorovsky district, Saratov region, who said that five tombstones and nine crosses had been desecrated at the local cemetery. A criminal case was initiated on this fact.
As the guards established, on August 21, three residents of Spartak went to the churchyard. The men decided to commemorate their deceased relatives. Suddenly, the 41-year-old villager began to wave his arms and behave in a strange way. The man literally went crazy.
The citizen began to rage, breaking crosses and monuments. His companions were frightened of this behavior and fled from the cemetery. The vandal himself, after his act, disappeared in an unknown direction. The police have information that he is hiding in the neighboring region, where, by the way, he has already been put on the wanted list.
In this mystical situation, one should first of all turn to popular beliefs and church tradition. According to the teachings of the church, drinking alcoholic beverages in the cemetery is strictly prohibited. With our behavior, we desecrate the graves and make a disrespectful gesture towards the dead. This tradition, by the way, was also followed by our Slavic ancestors, being still pagans.
If we turn to the sacred texts (of any confession), then it is unanimously stated there that a drunk person falls under the influence of evil otherworldly forces. As for the behavior of the man, he, as it turned out, took alcohol the most. Local believers grannies say that the man allegedly dreamed of ghosts, with which he began to fight. But if the citizen did not drink, then everything would be fine.
In the police, of course, the version of the fight against ghosts is not considered and the attacker will answer for the desecrated graves to the fullest extent of the law.
