Over the centuries, similar cases have been repeatedly recorded, however, no one can still explain this phenomenon.
In the 15th century in Linz (Austria), the archival records of the Church of St. Thomas recorded a case when the grave of a man named Steinberg disappeared from the city cemetery. She was later discovered in another part of the cemetery, which caused a violent reaction from the superstitious residents of the city.
The townspeople decided that poor Steinberg, who had been engaged in witchcraft and black magic all his life, could not find peace even after death.
In the presence of the city authorities, the grave was opened, and Steinberg's remains were recovered and burned. Then the ashes were thrown back into the pit and thrown with earth, and on top they put a massive aspen cross made of aspen - this is what they did with the corpses of those who were suspected of witchcraft at that time.
In the 40s of the 18th century, on the banks of the river near the German city of Ravensburg, two shepherds driving a herd stumbled upon a grave with a tombstone. Men have walked this route thousands of times, but never noticed any graves here. The inscription was carved on the stone: "Here lies Christine Bauer, a parishioner of the Church of Ravensburg."
The shepherds immediately went to the priest of the local church. Standing in front of the tombstone, he could not believe his eyes - he knew Christine Bauer as one of the most zealous parishioners of his church. The woman was buried in a prominent place in the church cemetery for a large monetary donation to the church treasury.

The priest and the shepherds went to the cemetery, but at the site of Christina's grave there was a completely empty and smooth piece of land!
Both graves were opened. Contrary to all common sense, the woman's body was found in a grave by the river.
The priest sprinkled holy water on a rotten coffin and remains, after which he ordered to leave the burial in peace and not to transfer it back to the church cemetery.
Since then, superstitious locals have bypassed the grave until a bomb hit it during World War I. Apparently, Christina Bauer did not find peace in the next world!
Not long ago, a similar incident occurred on a farm in the village of Foley Creek, Western Kansas, USA.
At the end of 1989, the owner of the farm, Joe Bernie, went out to feed his livestock. Suddenly he stumbled upon a grave mound with a crooked cracked headstone right in the middle of his yard!
Screaming in fear, the sixty-year-old rushed back into the house and called the police. The grave was carefully examined, but due to old age and cracks, the inscription on the stone could not be made out.
A cruel joke was ruled out - the next farm was located five kilometers from Bernie's house, and his property was surrounded by a high strong fence with heavy locking gates.
When the workers began to excavate the grave, they came across a rotting coffin with human remains at a depth of about half a meter. With the help of an excavator, the coffin and bones were removed from the grave, transferred to a deep pit in the steppe and buried.
Whose remains were and how they got to the farm, located far from the city and cemeteries, no one could explain. Only one thing is clear - Joe Bernie was far from the first person to encounter this phenomenon.
So, if the transfer of graves is the work of "jokers", then how do they manage to go unnoticed? After all, this work requires a significant investment of time and effort!
