For every high-profile event, there is a generally accepted view. But there is a possibility that it has been imposed on us - simply because the powers that be so need it.
We looked for alternative theories of known events. Alternative does not mean true. They are not officially recognized, but still there is a possibility that they took place or influenced events. I especially want to believe the last point!
Versions of the death of "Titanic"
Version number 1: it was not the Titanic that drowned, but its twin Olympic. It was built a year earlier and had an accident while uninsured. To compensate for the losses, the White Star Line company came up with the scam of the century - to send the Olympic under the name of the new insured Titanic; to set up an accident and get insurance, and to evacuate people by the company's vessels that turned out to be nearby. But in reality, the old Olympic sank too quickly - the help did not have time.
Version number 2: from the very moment of departure the Titanic was on fire. As proof of this, photographs of the day of departure of the ship with black spots on the site of the coal bunker, as well as an interview with the stoker John Dilly, who told about the 5-day fire in bunker 6, which was hushed up in order to preserve the company's reputation, are cited. Due to the fire, the red-hot wall after colliding with the iceberg could not withstand the pressure and let water into the waterproof compartments.

The most attractive of the versions says that the famous ancient Egyptian sarcophagus of the British Museum (Unlucky Mummy), which brought him, like the previous owners, an inexplicable wave of misfortunes, was sold to the collector Lord Canterville, who transported him on the Titanic. After the tragedy, newspapers wrote that the sarcophagus belonged to the Egyptian soothsayer Amen-Ra, and the inscription was carved inside: "Rise from oblivion and with one glance defeat all who stand in your way."
9/11 was rigged to pass anti-terrorism law
According to the creators of the documentary "Zeitgeist", terrorism is a method used by governments to manipulate public opinion to their advantage. The September terrorist attack allowed the US government to pass the Patriot Act, which allowed secret searches of homes, wiretapping and reading the mail of any suspect (= anyone) without court sanction or permission. That is, total control of citizens.
Scientists are wrong about Egypt
Science still cannot determine the exact date of the construction of Egyptian landmarks. Researchers' assumptions differ not only for centuries, but for millennia!
For example, it is believed that the Great Sphinx was built during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre in the XXV century BC. e. However, in 1857, an Inventory Stele was found in Giza, which showed that Chefren only ordered the restoration of the Sphinx, and not build it. We can deal with a more ancient monument.
It has also been proven that the furrows on the sphinx's body are traces of rain erosion. However, there were no heavy rains in Egypt for at least 8 thousand years, from which we can conclude that the Sphinx is more than 8 thousand years old.
It is interesting that immediately after the publication of this fact, the Egyptian authorities organized an urgent restoration of the sphinx, as a result of which the traces of erosion were smoothed out. And the Inventory stele was removed from the museum's exposition.
Troy was found for the sensation
The most likely location of the famous Troy is considered to be the Turkish hill of Hisarlik, found by the archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann. However, Schliemann was viewed by many of his colleagues as a treasure hunter rather than a scientist. Therefore, there is a popular theory that Schliemann simply wanted to make a sensation: he picked up antique ruins that were suitable in size and buried a vessel with jewelry purchased in advance there himself. Then this "Priam's treasure" was not accepted by any museum in the world.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a US provocation
President Roosevelt understood that the only way to influence world history was to intervene in the war. But American society had a different opinion. Then Roosevelt provoked the Japanese by the document-ultimatum "Hull's Note" to start the war first. The President knew about the attack, as evidenced by the fact that the main target of the Japanese - aircraft carriers - left the base on the day of the attack. Ultimately, this was the right move for a positive outcome of the war.
There are three extra centuries in chronology
For the first time, Isaac Newton raised the topic of confusion in history in his essay on the revised chronology of ancient kingdoms. And there are really a lot of inconsistencies.
For example, there is incredible confusion about the number of pharaohs in Egypt: there are many lists of rulers, but they are all different. And it all started with Jean-Francois Champollion (the founder of Egyptology), who found references to the Egyptian ruler Sheshonk I in the Bible and thereby consolidated the chronology of Egypt, which in total has 3 centuries, when nothing happened.
Kievan Rus also raises many questions: the VI century was the first Slavic settlement, then 3 centuries without any special mention, and then Kiev was suddenly the capital. Where did 300 years of Russian history go? There is a theory that Nestor, the author of The Tale of Bygone Years, wrote it by order of Vladimir Monomakh during the beginning of the decline of Kiev, in order to emphasize the greatness of the city.
The Carolingian dynasty is also a phantom. The historian Heribert Illig believes that the first European emperor Charlemagne is an invention of medieval chroniclers. For, despite the evidence of his palaces and temples, on the territory of modern Germany it was not possible to find a single stone left from them.
Michael Jackson faked death and moved to Bahrain
It seems that there are more adherents of this theory than those who believe that the king of pop is really no more. His death was painfully strange:
- his last photo was fake (there is a different skin color and it is not clear how it was possible to take a photo through the darkened glass of the car);
- the one who called 911 was very calm and did not even mention Jackson's name, only said that "the person is bad";
- the video from the surveillance cameras on the day of his death disappeared, as did his doctor after the sensation;
- he was in good shape a few days before his death;
- his coffin is not opened at the funeral service, no one from the family really cries;
- a diary was found in which the singer discusses the staged death;
- and also a few years before his death, he spent long periods of time in Bahrain with the thoughts of settling in this country.
