Exorcist from the world of the dead

Mary Roff - a girl who lived in the 19th century in the United States, was known to the inhabitants of her native small town for her unusual abilities. She had the rudiments of clairvoyance: she could read books and letters blindfolded without taking them out of envelopes. But the unusual psychic abilities, apparently, cost her dearly: Mary suffered from epilepsy and severe headaches. July 1865 - Mary Roff died of convulsions during another epileptic seizure. By that time she was eighteen years old …

April 1864 - More than a year before Mary's death, another girl was born in the same town: Lurancy Vennum.

From childhood, she was a completely ordinary child, no different from her peers. However, after she turned 13, strange things began to happen to her. She fell into a lethargic sleep that lasted for five years. After awakening, she began to fall into trances, during which she saw various spirits and talked with them. Lurancy was placed under the supervision of a psychiatrist. He found out that the girl was possessed by two different personalities: an evil old witch and a suicidal youth. Lurancy's own personality could only be restored under hypnosis. At the same time, the "true" Lurancy told the psychiatrist that there was only one way to get rid of her possessors: to allow an angel who wanted to help her to possess her. When asked by her attending physician who this angel seeking to help her was, Lurancy said: "Her name is Mary Roff."

After a while, a third person actually appeared in Lurancy's mind, calling herself Mary Roff. After that Lurancy turned into Mary. When the doctors allowed her to live with the Roff family, she got to know everyone and everything that Mary knew. She unmistakably recognized relatives and acquaintances of the Roff family, called them by their first names, recalled thousands of details from Mary's life, both significant, such as a trip to Texas, and minor. She found things hidden by Mary that her family knew nothing about. This obsession lasted for over three months, after which Lurancy unexpectedly regained her true identity and stopped recognizing the members of the Roff family, but began to recognize her own parents and relatives and returned to her family …

Psychiatry knows many cases of alternation and split personality, but this case was especially interesting for science in that, on the basis of irrefutable facts, in the course of careful and numerous checks, it was established that the person who was obsessed with Lurancy was in fact Mary Roff, with all her memories of an 18-year-old girl who died when Lurancy was only one year old.

The Roff and Vennum families did not know each other, and Lurancy could not have learned so many details about Mary's life in the usual way. In addition, having regained her own personality, Lurancy Vennum immediately ceased to recognize the members of the Roff family and completely forgot about those hundred days during which there was a different personality in her body. After that, her mental state stabilized, no trance or obsession with her anymore.

From this mysterious story, it is possible to draw two indisputable conclusions: firstly, the existence of the soul-consciousness does not end with the death of the physical body, and, secondly, the souls of the dead can have a huge impact on the consciousness and fate of people living on earth. At the same time, the essence of these contacts between representatives of different worlds is determined by the moral level of both parties: vicious, prone to various excesses, people become victims of vampiric entities and obsessors with the same kind of inclinations. Essentially not bad people, even having become the prey of the possessors for some karmic reasons, can win the help of good, light beings from the other world. The case of Lurancy and Mary Roff is perhaps the most amazing way out of an obsession when a being from the world of the dead takes on the role of exorcist.

And yet, the story of Lurancy Vennum cannot but raise the question: why did the obsession happen to a girl who was not noticed in some vices? This question is all the more relevant, because, unfortunately, Lurancy's example is not unique. Nowadays, many children of primary and secondary school age are susceptible to mental illness caused by obsession. How can this be explained?

The reasons for this kind of phenomena, as, indeed, for all other illnesses and misfortunes, are, of course, in the corresponding karmic accumulations. What can cause the exposure of some people to the influence of entities of other dimensions?

People with poorly developed psychic energy, due to their lack of natural protective energy potential, often become victims of attacks from other material energy thieves. Underdeveloped psychic energy is often a karmic consequence of a low spiritual level and an inactive, idle life in past incarnations - a life devoid of constant labor in any field of occupation. But, in addition to the weak psychoenergetic potential, there is another reason for the susceptibility of some people to other material influences - this is a special structure of the human subtle body, the consequence of which is the so-called innate mediumship. It was he who was the real cause of Lurancy Vennum's disease.
