Researchers at MUFON have published an interesting letter they received from Arizona from local photographer TE Melsen.
The man said that he saw something unusual after a thunderstorm on December 4, 2017.
According to Melsen, he loves to photograph the craters of the moon using a special lens and a zoom camera for this purpose.
On that day, as usual, he went on a photo shoot. After adjusting the camera, the man noted that the moonlight was too bright and autofocus could not work in any way. However, in the moments while the camera focused for a split second, he noticed that some strange shadow was visible.
The photographer switched to manual focus and took 4 shots in a row to choose the best one.
On the first of them, he examined an orange glow in the area where he had previously noticed an incomprehensible shadow. The second showed a strange object of indefinite shape.
The third photo turned out to be the most interesting, because it showed a capsule with some kind of shield.
The final frame showed the changed intensity of the glow of the object on the Moon.

After reviewing his pictures, the photographer went home to study them more closely. However, he found nothing new there.
Melsen hopes he'll be lucky next time to get clearer images of the UFO on the moon if it reappears.
