The story is told by a girl named Brooklyn who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“This is the first time that I tell other people about what happened in my childhood. This happened in 2006-2007, when our family lived in an ordinary house with two owners.
We lived on the top floor, and a friend of my father and his family lived on the first floor.
One day my mom was in the kitchen. Dad was in the living room at that time, and my sister and I were playing on the street next to the house. Mom was very embarrassed. She was sure that it didn't seem to her and someone really pulled her and called her mom. And that was just the beginning. Shortly after this incident, my father died. I do not know if his death was connected with anomalous phenomena in our house or not, but after his death all this began to manifest itself even more clearly.
I myself did not understand much then, my older sister later told me about this and other cases with my mother. This continued several months after the death of his father. Mom was still depressed, but luckily she was strong and she got over her grief.
So, a few months after the death of our father, my sister and I went out for a walk on the day off, and my mother was left alone in the house. And she began to hear strange voices in the apartment. And these voices were asking her to commit suicide.

Mom burst into tears and told my sister about the voices and about that very first case with a child's voice in the kitchen. My sister was very scared of all this, but then neither she nor my mother decided not to tell me anything, so as not to frighten me too.
Years later, when I found out about everything, I decided that several evil spirits lived in this house. I myself hardly suffered from their actions, I mostly had very exhausting nightmares.
There was also something that I don't know if it was in reality or in a dream. I remember how I was lying in bed and could not move, and something terrible entered my room or it was already in my room. At this moment, I usually came to my senses and there was nothing terrible around.
And I also saw out of the corner of my eye a large dark figure that ran out of my mother's room and ran into our room. Only in the corner of the eye, the so-called angular vision. And every time I turned my head in that direction, I did not see anything. And it made me terribly angry and annoyed.
And then my sister began to tell me that she saw a big black figure in our room. She stood near our beds without moving and doing nothing, But my sister was sure that this creature wants to harm us and it is very bad.
This creature scared my sister very much, but then she came up with a way to get rid of him. She closed her eyes tightly and tried to sleep, and when she opened her eyes again, there was no one else in the room. It was like this for several nights.
It seems that these paranormal things were somehow connected with the death of his father. After his death, we became very afraid of some things that we did not consider scary before. For example, in our room there was a large wardrobe with a small hole on the side. We used to like the closet, but after the death of our father, we became scared even to open it.
One day my mother was forced to leave us alone for the night and my older sister looked after me. And that night we heard someone's footsteps and incomprehensible sounds in our house.
And to this day I do not know exactly what exactly lived in this house. Later, when we moved, I accidentally found out that we were the longest-living family in this apartment. All the others moved out after a couple of months, without giving a reason.
My sister believed that there was a portal in this house, from where evil spirits penetrated, including the ghost of a child that my mother heard in the kitchen. We also both thought that our father's spirit was trying to fight them and that was why there was such a surge of activity.
Now that I've gotten older and have read a lot about ghosts and the paranormal, I no longer know what to think. I only know that a lot of bad things fell on us when we lived in this house. My father died, my mother fell into severe depression and was on medication, my sister tried to take care of both my mother and me, but she herself was a child and this was an unbearable burden for her.
I read that spirits can feed on negative energy and maybe the spirit living in this house created all this for us to feed on our grief and troubles.
After we moved, I have never encountered anything paranormal again. Now I am trying to find other families who lived in this house and find out what they went through."
