In the frame, a luminous ball rolls across the field, and only a voice-over announces: "Ball lightning". The feeling is that you are watching some kind of fantastic disaster movie, but this is not the director's fiction, but reality.
The unique natural phenomenon was filmed in the capital of Siberia, and their video "Ball lightning, Novosibirsk" in a matter of hours collected more than 15 thousand views.
- It was filmed by my dad at close range - through a high fence on outstretched arms, - said a little about filming a Siberian woman under the nickname Jenny T.
And if users of social networks were delighted and wondered how big the fireball really was, the meteorologists did not approve of their optimism.
“This is indeed a very rare phenomenon: our stations do not even register it,” said Anna Lapchik, head of the Novosibirsk hydrometeorological center. - But it was extremely dangerous to remove the lightning: the equipment could pull it to itself, like a regular lightning.
In general, brave Siberians were lucky: instead of being famous on the Internet, they risked ending up in a hospital. So, as they say, it's better not to repeat this trick on your own.
