Evgenia Mayorova, chairman of the Chelyabinsk city public movement for helping children with cancer "Iskorka", wrote on her Facebook page at 3.00 am: “Today, a fireball flew into my apartment. I'm still shocked."
It should be noted that ball lightning is a rare natural phenomenon of electrical origin.
In the morning, when we managed to contact Evgenia, she was already in St. Petersburg, where she flew to the forum of children who won cancer.
“It happened at 12 am. We were in the room, my daughter was watching a movie, and I was packing my bags for a flight to the St. Petersburg forum. Suddenly we saw several lilac discharges in the corner of the room. I thought that I was feeling tired and even prayed and read Psalm 90. But the daughter also saw these discharges. Then twice a white glowing circle appeared on the closed balcony.
“This is ball lightning, we were told in the Belarusian Railways lesson,” said the daughter. Then all my inner veins shook, I was very scared.
"To another room!" - quickly flashed through my head. In 5 minutes I packed my suitcase, called a taxi and we urgently went to my friend. When the light was turned on in the corridor, the lamp burst and the shield began to sparkle.
