In the Arctic, they are going to create an ice monument - the head of US President Donald Trump. Thus, the Finnish non-governmental organization "Melting Ice" intends to draw the attention of the world community to the melting of the Arctic ice, to the problem of global warming, which threatens not only the North, but the entire planet. Company activists comment that often people only believe when they see it with their own eyes. Therefore, they want to erect a monument for earthlings, so that they can see with their own eyes how the sculpture will melt. For this, the glacier, on which the sculptors will work, and then "Trump" will stand, will be surrounded by webcams around the perimeter, broadcasting live broadcasts in real time.

The monument will repeat in style the famous bas-relief on Mount Rushmore in the United States - the heads of 4 American presidents are carved into the rock. The ice sculpture is planned to be doubled in size: 35 m in height against 18 m; in width and depth - about 20 m. Finnish and Mongolian sculptors will directly engage in its creation. The work should take four weeks. The monument already has a name - Trumpmore. The estimated project budget is 400 thousand euros. To implement their idea, members of the Arctic NGOs created the Project Trumpmore website, where they talked about the project and expressed their hope for all-round help and material support.

The US President has more than once questioned the theory of global warming. In this regard, in 2017, the country withdrew from the Paris climate agreement, because, according to Trump, it is not in America's interests.
