In 2005, astronomers and physicists gathered at the special astrophysical observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the North Caucasus, who were firmly convinced that life in the Universe did not appear only on Earth. And in billions of other star systems there are planets where you can find some kind of living creatures: from the simplest unicellular to the obscenely developed ones, such as humanity. And maybe even smarter. The question is how to find them? And can this be done?
There are several programs to search for extraterrestrial civilizations. Some scientists look out for their traces in radio and optical telescopes, others themselves send messages to the most promising stars, and still others send spacecraft with information about our planet to the depths of the Galaxy. Astronomers have been looking for aliens since the mid-60s of the last century. But there are no impressive results yet.
There are beacons in the universe for "beginners"
- The main problem is that we do not know what to look for, - says Grigory Beskin, a leading researcher at the Special Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. - Our radio telescope (one of the most powerful in the world. - AM) has already received a lot of signals, which cannot yet be explained. Perhaps their source is natural phenomena unknown to us. But it is not excluded that the manifestations of the activities of another civilization. The age of the universe is 15 billion years, the age of the solar system is 4.5 - 5 billion. Most stars are much older than our Sun. And if there are civilizations somewhere, then it seems that they are much more "mature" than us. And if they are also looking for contacts, then they can use different methods to which we have not yet grown up. I am afraid that we earthlings are "small", almost undeveloped, until we understandat what level should we look for reasonable signals.
For example, 80 strange objects have now been discovered in the Universe - they were called ROKOS. They are comparable in size to stars, but they have a strange feature. The spectrum of our Sun, like all other stars, is cut by the so-called absorption lines. These lines are a kind of "fingerprints" of different types of atoms of chemical elements found on stars. So, the ROCOS do not have these lines at all, and there are no clear explanations for this phenomenon yet! Why not admit that these are some kind of beacons erected by powerful civilizations for some of their own purposes or for fools like us. To get attention. True, I cannot imagine what colossal powers “brothers in mind” must have in order to build or reconfigure already existing objects a hundred times larger than our Earth. But I will repeat the main point:we do not yet know what signs another civilization can give us besides radio and optical messages. Perhaps even the flares that occur on our Sun also have some secret meaning.
Who designed the luminary
Astrophysicist Beskin said about solar flares for a reason, although he refused to develop this topic. It turns out that in recent years astronomers have more and more grounds to assert that the structure of the solar system is anomalous, and (astronomers do not utter these words aloud - AM) a version has appeared that it was created … artificially.
- As of September of this year, 168 planets were discovered in the stellar systems closest to us, - says the head. But in practice, in telescopes, astronomers have not found similar systems.

- A couple of decades ago, only a scientist who did not care about his reputation could “blame” extraterrestrial civilizations for interference in the structure of the solar system. But you can't argue with facts. Suppose we are studying the solar system "from the outside", from one of the star systems. And what is left to think, seeing we have a lot of "strange patterns"?
Of course, for each of them, you can find some kind of scientific rational explanation, build a model. But in practice, stellar systems similar to the anomalous solar ones have not yet been discovered. Perhaps, when stronger telescopes appear, everything will change, but now a model of artificial interference can be assumed as an explanation. If we assume that intelligent life in the Universe necessarily exists, then this version is no worse than others. And not necessarily "brothers in mind" purposefully "built" our system the way it turned out. Perhaps all anomalies are a by-product of some incomprehensible actions of representatives of a foreign civilization.
