For two millennia, there have been disputes about how the death of Atlantis and its people, the Atlanteans, actually happened. The great Plato told about this country in his writings "Critias" and "Timaeus". They tried to search for it in South America and in the Atlantic Ocean, Asia Minor and the Mediterranean Sea, but all the finds ended in failure, because all the places found did not correspond to the description made by Plato. Some believed that Atlantis was named by the philosopher Plato himself, but his predecessors, for some reason, called it differently and used other names. The authors of antiquity believed that Atlantis is a state and existed as well as Greece. The disappearance of Atlantis, scientists explained by the fact that she was at war with Greece, but a sudden catastrophe destroyed it. Various legends and myths testify to this.
Plato wrote that the island disappeared in one day. However, the history of the creation of the country, like Atlantis, no one could explain, but it all started with the fact that three brothers: Poseidon, Hades and Zeus, who were considered Gods, divided the whole world in half. As a result, Poseidon got Atlantis, as well as all the seas in the world. At that time, several people lived on the island: Eunor, his wife Livkippa and their daughter Kleito. They were considered the first people on Earth. Poseidon fell in love with their daughter and married her. Soon she gave birth to 10 twins. They also became the kings of this island.
Poseidon actively began to fortify the island to defend against enemies. Around the hill, people dug three water rings and two earth rings. A small temple was built in the center of the hill (acropolis), and a wall of pure gold was built around it. Also on the acropolis, Poseidon built himself a palace, which with each reign of the new king improved and prospered.

Today, no one can explain the death of Atlantis. It was believed that the people who lived on this island still live on our land, but this is a people who evolved and became much smarter and wiser. Perhaps these are our ancestors.
