These are large dry particles, and they crumble on the fingers like soot,”he says. Note that these black flakes leave blue streaks on the white surface.
The origin of the black flakes has not yet been established. The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations claims that reeds have ignited on the Rowing Canal in Rostov-on-Don, and the fumes are flying from there.
Recall that at the end of March in the Arkhangelsk region, yellow-orange snow fell on the territory of five districts. Colored snow also surprised the Nenets Autonomous Okrug - Naryan-Mar, the villages of Nes and Nizhnyaya Pesha. The Komi Republic was marked with orange rain. According to the official version of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, forecasters and other specialists, the cause of colored precipitation in the north was air masses from Kalmykia.
In February of this year, brown snow fell in Buryatia, causing panic among the villagers. A rumor spread around the area that this phenomenon was connected with the recently exploded American satellite, and that there could be poisonous waste in the sediments. In fact, it turned out that the brown snow was the result of a dust storm in Kazakhstan.
In Gorno-Altaysk, gray snow was reported. The unusual color is due to the presence of fine earth dust. Black-yellow snow fell in Vladivostok. It was officially announced that the reason was the sand that air masses bring from other regions with little snow, for example, from China. Local residents did not believe in such an explanation, attributing the change in the color of precipitation to emissions from the local thermal power plant.
Unusual snow, which varied in color from light yellow to orange, fell in the Omsk, Tyumen and Tomsk regions. Sandstorms from Kazakhstan were also to blame.
