A video titled "Steampunk Tendencies" posted on Facebook this week gave the world a glimpse of a completely unusual hand prosthesis that was specially designed for the tattoo artist. French designer JL Gonzal created this masterpiece for tattoo artist JC Sheitan Tenet based in Lyon. In the video description, Gonzal wrote that he combined parts of a typewriter, pressure gauge and various tubes to make the prosthesis not only functional, but also aesthetically correct.

The video shows that it is not at all a problem for a tattoo artist to wield this mechanism. In fact, for Sheitan this was the first time he tried to use his prosthesis on a human, so, one might say, both for the designer and for the tattoo artist (and certainly for his client too) these are significant shots.

While the design of the prosthesis looks impressive, it is far from perfect. According to the designer, this is still a prototype of an exhibition specimen, it uses replaceable cartridges and a needle, but the cleaning and sterilization process takes too long and is too laborious to use such a prosthesis on a daily basis.
But the artist from New Zealand Benjamin Lloyd, although he does not have the skills to apply a tattoo, but he knows how important it is for children to feel a little grown up and important - for this he imitates tattoos in the form of spray paints.
