If you look into the eyes of another person for a very long time, then after 10 minutes really strange things can happen.
Can a long look in the eyes be dangerous? As a result of a psychological experiment conducted by the Italian scientist Giovanni Caputto, half of the subjects noted that it was amazing, and the other that it was scary.
The psychologist decided to check what would happen if 2 people sit opposite each other and look into each other's eyes for 10 minutes.
The experiment involved 20 young people. The room in which the study took place was dimmed, and the subjects sat at a distance of 1 meter from each other.
The survey consisted of several items and a personal conversation about the subject's condition.

Study participants admitted that they had never felt anything like this. Moreover, many Internet users confirm the fact that you can come to such a state even at home, for example, if you look at your own reflection in the mirror for a long time, it is possible to see someone's reflection.
No wonder they say that when fortune-telling with mirrors, you can see someone else's image.
Scientists are not sure exactly what mechanisms are responsible for these strange hallucinations. Scientists have not yet found an understanding of this phenomenon, but they are actively working in this direction and are preparing a number of more experiments with volunteers. The results of these studies can be useful in detecting schizophrenia in the early stages.
