Italian scientists said that humans may have wandering senses. Specialists are aware of cases when vision, with deformation or eye disease, simply moves to other parts of the body.

One such case was described by the Italian neurologist Cesare Lombroso. A 14-year-old girl, after a long illness, lost the functionality of both eyes, but she claimed that she continues to see everything as well as before. The girl's parents did not understand what was happening with their child and turned to Dr. Lombroso. He conducted a series of experiments and determined that the girl actually sees everything, although she has practically no eyes. During one of their experiments, a beam of bright light fell on the girl's earlobe and she screamed. Lombroso also accidentally touched the tip of the patient's nose, which made the girl indignant. He was able to determine that now the girl sees with the earlobes and the tip of her nose, which is why her vision not only did not deteriorate, but became more qualitative, spherical. The girl also impressed the doctor with another unique ability - she could smell not only her nose, but also her chin. Evdokia Light
