How many eyes does a person have? A funny question, of course two! However, esotericists, yogis and followers of Eastern culture believe that every person, without exception, has a third eye, but only a few are able to use its unique properties.

Legends

Indian sculptures depict the ancient gods as multi-armed, sometimes multifaceted, and on the forehead just above the bridge of the nose, many have a third eye. According to legend, the gods could see the past and the future, read minds, hypnotize, move giant stone blocks with the power of thought, draw knowledge from the information bank of the universe.

The third eye - the Eye of the gods was presented by them and people, but they did not appreciate the gift, became proud and began to use the Eye to satisfy their own exorbitant ambitions, achieve and share power. And then the gods closed the third eye for people, so that humanity endowed with exorbitant power would not destroy itself.

The gods could completely deprive people of their gift, but they hoped that over time humanity would grow up, get rid of vices, and when this happens, the gods will return people to their superpowers, the third eye will again become "sighted."

Looking for a third eye

The search for the third eye was carried out in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, India and Tibet. In 1938, the Nazis sent a research expedition to Tibet led by Ernst Schaefer. Funding was taken over by the "Ahnenerbe" society, which was engaged in occult research, and was supervised by the SS Reichsfuehrer Himmler himself.

The travelers returning in 1939 were greeted as national heroes. Schaefer received from Himmler the honorary SS dagger and the "Death's Head" ring.

Among other things, Schaefer brought information that Tibetan monks, through many years of meditation and spiritual self-improvement, learned to open the "third eye". The Nazis were on fire with the idea of making the Aryans a people of demigods. However, they preferred to open their eyes not through spiritual self-improvement, but surgically.

The "material" for the research were concentration camp prisoners, who were delivered to secret laboratories in hundreds. How many people were killed by the fiends in white coats is unknown, but SS units, staffed by super soldiers, never appeared on the Eastern Front. The eye of God remained closed to the Nazis.

Is there a third eye?

The parietal eye exists in many reptiles, covered with a thin film of skin. It is also found in mammals, but it is highly modified and is located deep in the brain. Its functions are not clear to scientists. Is it not thanks to him that animals anticipate the coming natural disasters? Stories about how animals leave a city that has a few days or hours left to live do not surprise anyone.

There is also a person, called the pineal gland. Galen, Descartes and Leonardo da Vinci were interested in him. In a two-month-old embryo, it is very large, but as the fetus grows and the child develops, it decreases and by the age of ten it is no more than a pea and goes deep into the brain.

The pineal gland really resembles an eyeball - it has a lens and receptors for color perception and can rotate like an eye. Just what does he see in the depths of the skull?

Indian yogis claim that with appropriate training, each person can master the inner vision and read letters in sealed envelopes, see through the wall, look into the past and future, and much more. But the Eye opens only to those who have reached the heights of spiritual development. Well, those who dream of using the gift for the purpose of personal enrichment or achievement of power are wasting years - the Eye does not open for such people.
