A 60-year-old man has lived most of his life with large tumors hanging from his face. Nepalese Krishna Prasad Bhattarai (Krishna Prasad Bhattarai) from the age of 15 suffered from neurofibromatosis, which caused the growth of huge tumors on his face.
Over time, under the weight of the tumors, the skin was stretched and the tumors hung lower and lower. In addition to the huge tumors, the man's body was covered with many small, wart-like tumors, but they gave him much less trouble.
For a long time, the man did not receive any help, since he did not have money for the operation, but recently doctors from the Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital in Kathmandu learned about his problem and offered to do the operation for free.
The operation lasted seven hours, and a team of 11 doctors carefully excised tumors on the right side of the Nepalese's face, which weighed over 11 kilograms.
Now Krishna Prasad Bhattarai is recovering from surgery.
