Pakistani doctors are trying to understand the reason for the strange condition of the two brothers - at night they lose the ability to move and talk. Two boys, 9 and 13 years old, have already become known as "sunny children".
According to The Associated Press, two brothers from Pakistan, Shoaib Ahmed and Abdul Rasheed, lead a normal active lifestyle during the day, they are energetic and cheerful. But after sunset, both fall into a state in which they cannot move, even open their eyes and speak.
So far, doctors cannot explain the reasons for these symptoms. The brothers are undergoing a medical examination in Islamabad; local doctors sent their blood samples to foreign colleagues for study. Also, experts examine soil and air samples from the brothers' home village.
The boys' parents are known to be cousins and cousins. Two of their six children died at an early age. Two other children have no strange symptoms.
The boys' father Mohammad Hashim explains the anomaly in his sons simply: "I think they get their energy from the sun." But doctors have already dismissed the idea that sunlight plays an important role in the condition of children - the brothers can move during the day, even if it is raining outside or in a dark room.
