On February 2, 2006, Anita Mirjani was in a coma in the intensive care unit in Hong Kong, her hometown. She was hooked up to a ventilator: she suffered from Hodgkin's lymphoma, she had metastases and enlarged lymph nodes.
But already on March 26, 2006, Murjani danced and drank champagne at the wedding, and in July 2006, the doctors stated a complete recovery.
She believes that her quick recovery is caused by changes in her consciousness. Like many people who have experienced a near-death experience, she felt like she had left her body during a coma.
In her book Die to Find Oneself, Murjani writes that she heard a conversation between her husband and a doctor, who were 12 meters from the room. She felt freedom from the shackles of the body and suffering and fell into another dimension, where she felt absolute love.
There she was asked to choose - to return or die. “I realized that if I choose life, my body will heal very quickly: not in months or weeks, but after a few days,” she writes. This is exactly what happened when she came out of the coma.
Murjani understood the cause of her cancer - fear. She realized that she could heal through love.
“When people are treated in hospitals, they only get rid of the disease, not the painful energy, so after a while the disease comes back,” she says. "I realized that if I return, my body will be filled with healthy energy."
Dr. Peter Ko of the University of California researched Murjani's medical history. He concluded, “Her recovery is truly incredible. In my experience and the opinion of colleagues, this rapid recovery cannot be explained by chemotherapy.”

Murjani tried alternative therapies and underwent chemotherapy for the first time only in February 2006, when her condition became critical. Attending physician Murjani, oncologist T. K. Chan, from a Hong Kong sanatorium, told the South China Morning Post, “Hodgkin's lymphoma is quite treatable. Perhaps it was a reaction to chemotherapy … Whether the spiritual experience helped, I can not judge … It was an impressive recovery. But I think the chemotherapy and chest drainage affected.
Ko stated in an interview with the South China Morning Post, “I am ambivalent about terms like 'miraculous cure' and 'spontaneous remission', but the recovery has been impressive … Perhaps her mind or body sent a message to cancer cells to turn off mutated genes. Hodgkin's lymphoma responds well to chemotherapy, but I've never seen a cure so quickly."
