The kidnapping of people for the sake of incomprehensible (and will we ever understand?) Purposes did not begin with the sorties of American fighters from American bases. We have already talked about the disappearance of one of the battalions of the British Norfolk Regiment in the First World War. However, both before and after that, there was a mass of single abductions, on which there is no point in dwelling, since not all of them can be identified. But some of the abductions that did not take place eloquently indicate that the trend exists and it is developing. This mainly concerns the so-called "gray" - aliens with smooth-wrinkled dolphin skin. By the way, they communicate with each other in a dolphin-like manner: clicks, clicks and whistles …

And here is a story that, according to Solomon Shulman, has become a classic in ufology.

Betty and Barney Hill (spouse: she is white, Barney is a Negro) on the night of September 19-20, 1961, drove from Canada to the United States to the city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to their home. In the vicinity of Lancaster, a UFO appeared in the sky right on their way and began to descend towards the highway. Several times the couple stopped the car, and Barney looked at the unusual object through binoculars. Behind the hill, the UFO, which at first seemed to them as a "star", was no longer visible. When the car went up the hill, the couple saw a large aircraft with red lights around the edges. The device continued on its way over the road, at a very low altitude. Braking, Barney got out of the car again and looked at the UFO through binoculars. Soon the object hovered over the road. And suddenly Barney resolutely went straight to him. Betty dissuaded him loudly, but he did not listen … In the same way, suddenly, the husband turned around and ran to the car. Later,under hypnosis, he said that he was frightened by people who showed themselves to the American in the windows. Throwing himself behind the wheel, Barney pulled away and, turning, sped the car away from that place. But soon they were overtaken by incomprehensible intermittent sound signals … This is the last thing that the spouses, who had not yet been subjected to hypnosis, recalled.

They woke up, realizing that they heard the noise of their own motor instead of alien sounds. It turned out that this only happened in Ashland (about 60 kilometers from Lancaster). How they got there, neither Barney nor Betty Hill remembered. They spent an extra two hours on the road of 60 kilometers …

This story was "untwisted" to the end. Betty turned to the military. There is a report from Major Henderson. But after the first interview by Henderson, Betty began to have very disturbing dreams, and therefore wrote about this to Major D. Keehou. He turned to the famous astronomer Walter Webb, and he, in a conversation with Betty, found out that she sees the same dream every night - that she meets a group of some people (most likely humanoids) on the road and loses consciousness. And then Betty wakes up inside the apparatus on which the humanoids flew in, and sees her husband there, and they both undergo extensive medical examinations …

In November, Barney's condition suddenly deteriorated. Until 1963, military researchers barely bothered the spouses. But Barney, who was getting worse and worse, ended up in the clinic, and Dr. Stephens determined that the cause of his illness was a nervous shock he once experienced, which Barney himself had no idea about. Boston psychiatrist Simon took over. He did not miss a single event from the past life of the spouses, and in February 1964 both were subjected to regressive hypnosis. After several sessions of hypnosis, which at first did not identify the causes of stress, it was finally possible to find out what happened after the Hill couple heard an extraneous signal on the road on the night of September 1961 …

It turns out Barney took to the right and stopped the car. There really was a group of "people" right on the highway. They were in a stream of some kind of light. The strangers approached the car and forced Barney and Betty out of the car. Then the spouses were transported by unknown means to the ship by air. A "medical examination" took place there.

Betty examined her skin, throat, ears, nose. They stuck a needle into the stomach, and it was terribly painful, but their chief held his hand in front of the woman's face, and the pain disappeared. Betty asked why they did it (stuck in the needle), and the "boss" replied that that's how they did the pregnancy test.

Not without a curiosity. Barney had a denture. So the "doctor" who entered the room where Betty was examined, forced her to open her mouth and tried to remove the woman's teeth from it. When he failed to do this, the aliens almost held a consultation, discussing the "phenomenon" with teeth for a long time. Later, the earthly doctor Hynek jokingly said: “I can imagine the report of the expedition, which these guys will present to the scientific council of their planet. It will turn out that black males have removable teeth, while white females do not."

After the "alien" inspection, the "chief" showed Betty a star map and told about what the points-stars and lines - "trade routes" mean on it. Our Sun was out of the beaten path of the universe. However, the alien did not indicate the point that marked our star, referring to the fact that Betty did not understand stellar cartography.

Under hypnosis, Betty reproduced the map (albeit very roughly). And when, after a month and a half, the spouses first played the tape with their "testimonies", they were terribly surprised by what they said: in real life, this information was deleted from their memory. Barney was especially surprised …

Doctors were powerless to help Barney Hill: five years later he was overtaken by death from a cerebral hemorrhage.

Doctors and other specialists who participated in the investigation of the history of the Hill spouses made the conclusion that was desirable for the military at that time: everything that Betty and Barney showed under hypnosis was the fruit of Betty's strongest hallucination, which occurred for unknown reasons. And the similarity of the "testimony" of the spouses is explained by the ability of Betty to inspire her husband with the same "dreams". Note that the explanation of scientists, in its fantasticness, is in no way inferior to the very question of aliens and, as it has been found today, has no basis whatsoever.

Moreover, the operator 0214 of the Strategic Bomber Aviation regiment recorded on the night of September 20, 1961 the fact of sighting a UFO in the indicated area. This is the first proof of the reality of history. And the second is an investigation by astronomers, undertaken on a map drawn by Betty under hypnosis. This is a detective story, no less interesting than the incident with Betty and Barney.

Marjorie Fish from Ohio found the space of the Universe from which our site is visible from the angle that Betty portrayed. A huge amount of work has been done using a complex mathematical apparatus. I will say in advance that Fish is an amateur astronomer, but professional astronomers rated her research and calculation as very accurate and high-quality work. Professor Walter Mitchell and his students repeated the calculation, already relying on the map itself, and confirmed that it depicts Zeta I and Zeta II of the constellation Reticuli.

An indirect, and perhaps the most direct, evidence is the third fact: the map was drawn by Betty Hill in 1964, and the three stars depicted on it (their catalog numbers 59, 67 and 86) were not known to astronomers at that time, since opened only in 1969!

On August 13, 1965, the abduction of the two sisters did not take place. Three men ("gray", judging by the story) did not cope with the task, and the girls managed to escape to the car, in which they left (Washington state).

Key aspects of this story are repeated from report to report. These are: 1) amnesia after kidnapping;

2) forced sexual / medical examination of the abducted person; 3) bald heads, slit-like mouths, almond-shaped eyes, and pointed chins in abductors;

4) the circular nature of the ship on which they were kidnapped; and 5) a nervous breakdown. Paradoxical feelings of terror, longing, closeness and strangeness are often reported.

“They took advantage of my loss of consciousness,” Whitley Streiber writes in his report on such an abduction (see below) about his “visitors”.

Another well-known account relates to the Brazilian farmer Antonio Vilas-Boas. Even earlier in 1957, late in the evening, as he was plowing his tractor alone in the field, a red star appeared above him, growing into an egg-shaped object, and softly landed nearby. The tractor motor stalled (in such reports, as already indicated, electricity problems are often reported), four "people" captured it and took on board the UFO, stripped, washed and left one in the room. A small, naked blonde with blue eyes and narrow lips entered. Then she had sex with the man who entered after her. The woman smiled and, pointing first at her belly and then at the sky, went out after her man. After the farmer was allowed to get dressed, he was taken to another room, where the aliens sat and "growled" at each other. Seeing something that looks like a cloak,the farmer tried to steal it as evidence … Much like Betty Hill trying to steal the book she saw on the ship. When he failed, he realized that he had no evidence other than his memory.

Streiber's report of abduction by "visitors" in rural upstate New York in December 1985 compares to earlier reports blaming fairies, demons, or angels. He pointed out that such an experience was not new and that such aliens were known in various guises.

Under hypnosis, he described how he was lured out of the house into a "black iron enclosure," which rose into the air and took him to a small circular room. Here he underwent a medical examination, including sexual intervention. He reported four types of aliens: the first are robotic; the latter are squat, stocky creatures in blue uniforms (like an army one); still others are refined, delicate and fragile with a rudimentary mouth and nose and mesmerizing black slanting eyes; the fourth are bald and small, but with round, like black buttons, eyes. His "examination" was carried out by a Type III woman with dense tanned skin. She seemed old and wise and insectlike. He later tied her large slanting eyes with the image of the Sumerian goddess Ishtar.

Streiber argues that these creatures were physically "real" and yet somehow rooted in the human subconscious, affecting perception and taking the soul out of the body. They communicated mainly through symbols and displays. He felt that the aliens had occupied the Earth for a long time and, possibly, were associated with human evolution. They said that this world is a "school" and that they "go through repeated cycles of soul development." Although Straiber was terrified, he nevertheless felt that the aliens were equally afraid of us, and his fear was mingled with a thirst for communication. Rejecting extraterrestrial hypotheses, Streiber considered the following theories: 1) modern modification of the "fairies" race; 2) the spirits of the dead; 3) creating a collective subconscious; 4) from other measurements; 5) an archaic group of collectively thinking insect species,who share the planet Earth with us and in a sense are superior to people, but are afraid of them because of their unpredictability. Perhaps they seek to transform us, or we ourselves subconsciously wish to transform thanks to them. Streiber says that, shocked by this event, he was forced to realize that such phenomena influenced him from childhood, but fear caused him amnesia, and they remained hidden behind the "veils of memory" until they were realized under hypnosis …but fear caused him amnesia, and they remained hidden behind the "veils of memory" until they were realized under hypnosis.but fear caused him amnesia, and they remained hidden behind the "veils of memory" until they were realized under hypnosis.

Whatever lurked behind this incident, it touched him to the core.

The feeling of contact or closeness with other species, frightening and at the same time magnificent, permeates all recorded folklore of humanity. Certain beliefs are common to all times and cultures. One of them is some creatures that kidnap people for the purpose of sexual union:

1) to create a superior hybrid race, or 2) to ensure survival through interbreeding. The third category is associated with the stories (usually) of poets (True Thomas), magicians (Merlin) or sacred leaders (King Arthur) about falling into another kingdom or dimension, where they were not dead, but returned when they satisfied the needs of the race or realized the correct ritual.

The belief in hybridization goes back to the biblical book of Genesis, where we read: “the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were beautiful, and took them as their wives,” and this is how the giants ended up on Earth in those days. The Apocryphal Book of Enoch, which we talked about at the beginning of the book, excluded from the Bible for the story of how angels called Observers entered into sexual relations with humanity, describes something like extraterrestrial teachers or colonists "becoming colonists." Thus, biological compatibility in this case raises more complex questions.

Survival hypotheses can be seen in Celtic tales of fairies abducting human children and leaving foundlings. This could very well be guerrilla tactics. The defeated older race kidnaps children or seed in order to survive, raising in its midst a race of its victorious successors. This is the sexual aspect of the above abduction cases.

This third category refers to contemporary UFO abduction tales. Celtic folklore is rich in stories of babies abducted by fairies. The fate of Robert Kirk, the seventeenth century Scottish minister who wrote The British Secret Society, about the kingdom of the fairies, its organization, and the mind that rules it, illustrates this theme. Once he was found dead in a fairy settlement, but thanks to his reputation as a person who had contact with them, they announced that he had not died, but simply taken to the kingdom of the fairies, from where he would immediately return alive as soon as the necessary ritual was performed. Of course, this did not happen.

The story of the Truthful Thomas (Thomas the Rhyme, medieval Scottish poet and prophet) is similar to this. As Thomas lay on the banks of the Huntley one day, he saw a lady come down the "Eildon tree". Thomas greeted her as "the queen of the sky," but she said that she was only "the queen of the beautiful land of the elves." Although she warned him not to kiss her, he still did. Then she declared that he "must go with her and serve her for seven years." She took him on her milky white horse, she carried him away from the "living land" through the stormy rivers of blood, deserts and "dark, dark night" to the "Beautiful land of elves", warning that if he said even a word in this country, it will never return to its own earth. He protested:

My tongue belongs to me. But she told him to calm down and, as a consequence:

He put on a cloak of elven cloth And a pair of green velvet shoes And all seven years flew by, When no one saw him.

Check seven years. The relativity of time is characteristic of such stories. It seems to those who have experienced abduction on UFOs or other worlds that only a few hours have passed, but upon returning to the human world, they find that they have been absent for "seven years" or, say, "a hundred years and a day." Amnesia is also present in the story of Betty and Barney Hill, who lost "two hours," in the modern presentation of such an incident. Old Irish tales of travels on the magical sea also fit here. On their return from one of these voyages, the sailors were warned not to set foot on land, which they thought they had left only a few months ago, as a whole century had passed. One of them ignored this warning and stepped ashore, instantly turning to dust. Such indications of the relativity (relativity) of time, affecting dates,appears from the eighth century.

The abduction, as described by Streiber, the Hill couple and others, is nothing more than modern perception, clothed with the concepts of space travel, UFOs, etc., a centuries-old phenomenon that, whether observed as an objective fact or as a phenomenon arising from perception the collective subconscious of the Universe, is more mysterious than everyday experience, and remains “comparable” … But comparable - with what? This phenomenon happens only at night and with people who are alone at this time. The ghost horses of the fairy queen have been replaced by UFOs. Abductions result in blackouts, confusion, and unexpected encounters with creatures that, whatever their goals, were never as out of the ordinary as we would like.
