Almost all countries have preserved legends about intelligent lizards that previously lived side by side with humans. Moreover, people and reptiles coexisted quite peacefully, and in most cases it is said that the serpent people carried knowledge and were wise rulers. One gets the impression that after some time, a kind of peace between them ceased. The war began, the echoes of which are also mentioned in the legends. People turned out to be stronger, and the lizards had to go underground, where they may still live.
At least from underground in many parts of the world, strange noises and knocks are heard. And sometimes strange sounds come from the bowels of the earth, resembling either the roar of animals, or some kind of explosions or roar.
It seemed that incomprehensible mechanisms were working under the ground. Naturally, such sounds interested scientists.
Particularly strong noises were heard in Chile, near the places where the mining enterprise was located. The mines were long abandoned due to frequent rock falls and depletion. By the way, the reputation of these mining developments was very bad. Partly due to the fact that about a hundred miners died in the rubble, and partly because of rumors that strange creatures with a snake body and a human face live underground.
The Chilean government asked Soviet scientists to deal with this. Surprises during research were not long in coming. The gates that closed the entrance to the mines were broken, and this was done from the inside, and not from the outside. From the gate into the mountains there was a strange trail, resembling a trace from a very large hose. Having passed through the tunnel deep into the development, an incomprehensible tunnel was discovered, which led down the road. The walls of the tunnel were corrugated. Going down, the researchers discovered a strange mechanism with which it was possible, as it were, to "suck" copper ore directly from the rock. Almost immediately, the group of researchers was attacked by snakes, about 2 meters long with large teeth. Such a report was perceived as fantastic, it was considered that perhaps the scientists breathed in some kind of gas and the research was stopped. The entrance to the mines was sealed again.
This is just one of the stories of encounters between humans and strange serpentine creatures underground. This is happening more and more often. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that contact between people and intelligent lizards, if they stayed on Earth, will still take place.
