The quantum theory of consciousness, which scientists from the United States of America are working on, could change the way people think about death. Because death, in its classical understanding, which implies the death of consciousness, simply does not exist within this theory.
The soul, according to American researchers, does not die, but "returns back to the Universe" (whatever that means).
“Imagine that your brain is a biological computer, and your consciousness is a program that this computer runs. If you turn off the computer, the results of the program may disappear or remain, but we still believe that consciousness persists,”says Stuart Hameroff, physicist and honorary doctor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Psychology at the University of Arizona.
Hameroff explains the nature of consciousness in a rather specific way - the scientist is sure that what is commonly called the soul is in fact a set of effects of quantum attraction generated by microtubes located in the brain.
The scientist is sure that the information accumulated by consciousness during life is not just not destroyed after death, but cannot even be destroyed, since the laws of the quantum world contradict this.
