This is exactly what the leadership of the English County of Wiltshire did, which legally determined that circles in agricultural fields were a criminal offense.

According to the Wiltshire police spokesman, such illegal actions cause serious harm to farmers, and not only directly destroying crops, but also to attract various kinds of researchers, journalists, just curious and tourists to these "mysterious circles". Therefore, from now on, county farmers are ordered to immediately report such "outrages" in the fields to the police by calling 999, after which these violations will be dealt with by law enforcement agencies.

Yes, one can agree with the Wiltshire County authorities that hooligans and pranksters should be punished, but crop circles often appear in mysterious ways, and even scientists cannot explain this phenomenon, conducting serious scientific research on such agricultural "pictures". How will the police in this case fight all this? Does it really have methods of intimidating and punishing aliens, which, as has long been proven by independent researchers, in this way tell us some information or even send warnings?

It turns out that, again, only independent researchers will suffer, who (for the good of mankind) are trying to decipher these mysterious messages. They will now be legally cut off from the opportunity to even take pictures of crop circles: the county authorities have allowed shooting down drones trying to remove all this "disgrace", although it is not clear how such aerial photography can prevent farmers from growing crops?..
