UFO reports from a now defunct British Royal Air Force unit will be made public on the Internet, Sun reported. The RAF made the decision to eliminate its UFO unit in 2009 after finding that no evidence of a potential threat has been disclosed in any of the reports received in more than 50 years. Previously, reports from this department were submitted to the National Archives and were initially classified prior to publication after a certain number of years.
However, the most recent RAF reports will be posted online. Alleged UFO sightings are now being reported to local police. An Air Force spokesman said that "it was decided that it was better to publish these recordings than to continue submitting the documents to the National Archives, and therefore they want to post them on a dedicated web page gov.uk." Currently, the paperwork process is underway to be published in the first quarter of 2020. "The Ministry of Defense has no opinion on the existence of extraterrestrial life and does not investigate reports of UFOs," the source said.
