The Korean magnet generator Infinity MG10 is probably the most advanced development of a neodymium magnet setup with bifilar electromagnetic coils today.

Its production became possible thanks to modern technologies, especially the fact that a neodymium alloy is used at the base of the rotor. These are the most powerful magnets to date, made from an alloy containing neodymium, boron and iron. Plus, they are very difficult to manufacture in vacuum furnaces. Thanks to such technologies, it was possible to increase the power of the device.

However, they are not eternal - Koreans give a 20-year warranty. This is because there are significant disadvantages:

  • Firstly, neodymium magnets are very fragile and can completely lose their properties upon impact.
  • Secondly, they work only at a certain temperature regime - up to 250 degrees Celsius.
  • Third, a very high cost.
  • Fourthly, it is very complex in design and configuration, and also has complex electronic equipment.

The magnetogenerator also has advantages - low noise in operation, reduced friction and, as a result, increased service life, efficiency, lack of regular maintenance.

Therefore, the Koreans had to sweat with the production of such an installation.

Structurally, it consists of 60 neodymium magnets located on the rotor. Opposite them, on the stator, are bifilar (two paralleled windings) electromagnetic coils with a special core made of transformer iron. The turns in the windings are also wound in a special way. All this significantly improves the characteristics of the magnetogenerator.

The MG-10 INFINITY is controlled by a sophisticated controller that allows you to turn off the solenoid coil at the maximum increase in E. D. S., as well as extinguish stray currents.

Thus, the rotor with neodymium magnets rotates inside the stator with electromagnetic magnets.

Start-up is carried out with a conventional 12-volt battery. Since neodymium magnets are very vulnerable in terms of temperature, the unit is equipped with forced cooling.

The generator also has a conventional induction motor to rotate the rotor. After starting, half of the power is taken for the rotation of the installation by the electric motor.

MG-10 is produced with different output powers - 3, 6, 9 kW, etc.

From the technical data, the following can be cited - the operating voltage is 110 or 220, and there is also 380 volts, the frequency is 50-60 Hertz. Amperage from 16 to 100 amperes. The weight of a 6 kW unit is 60 Kg.

Of course, everyone would like to have such a unit on the farm, but due to a very complex device, their price is rather high. So, a 6 kW generator costs about $ 8,000 excluding VAT and various other duties. And already by 9 KW, the cost doubles.

The use of such generators is quite wide. These are various private farms, houses, wind generators, billboards and much more. Now, apparently, it is worth working on increasing the net power, and especially on reducing the cost.
