Man in the process of his development has created many magnificent works of culture: paintings, sculptures, architectural monuments. A special place among the cultural heritage of mankind is held by oral folk art, which was passed down from generation to generation until it acquired a written form. The play of the imagination of our ancestors amazes researchers, and the details of the description of mysterious and enigmatic creatures are so detailed that a logical question arises: could there really be such creatures in the world?

Are there parallel measurements?

The term "reality" originated in the philosophical environment. This concept has a large number of homonyms and has become an integral part of the everyday vocabulary. The term allows you to objectively consider and scientifically analyze the events of the material world that occur according to natural processes and obeying the will of intelligent beings. Our reality has an objective and a subjective side. The totality of phenomena occurring in the world, man-made, natural, caused by the will of man, constitute an objective part of reality. At that time, each individual individual forms his own reality through personal experiences, intellectual processes and the manifestation of his will.

Even at the dawn of mankind, people wondered: is everything that happens to a person real? To what extent is reality perceived by a person correctly?

In ancient times, people tried to experimentally determine how much everything that happens in our life corresponds to reality. Some sought the answer to this question in religious ecstasy, others tried to speculatively find the answer to this question.

Plato stated that a person does not see all of reality, like a blind man who sees only the shadows of objects on a sunny day. Many philosophers have pondered this question, such reflections were by no means an idle pastime, but a reflection of the actual experience with which the ancestors of modern civilization came into contact.

After all, beings from other realities have repeatedly penetrated into our dimension. Similar stories are reflected in the myths of the peoples of the world. Suffice it to recall the Egyptian myth telling about the god Seth, who, together with his army, emerged from the "gates of Darkness" and quite successfully destroyed people.

Of course, it can be argued that the image of Set is collective, or there really was a certain bloodthirsty leader of the savages who fought with ancient Egypt. There can be a huge variety of theories. However, not one Egyptologist will be able to give the answer what the "gate of Darkness" is. While the chronicler, who described this phenomenon, operates with such facts and details that are simply impossible to invent. In addition, he himself perceives this phenomenon as something real and terrible.

Everyone knows the sad story of Giordano Bruno, who fell victim to the tyranny of the Catholic Church. Many people are sure that he paid for the defense of the idea of heliocentrism, but in fact Bruno was trying to tell humanity about the danger posed by the inhabitants of parallel dimensions.

In the 1950s, physicist Everett scientifically substantiated the concept of a plurality of realities. His bold concept was met with hostility by the scientific world. The criticism of the ball is so comprehensive that Everett had to leave the world of science. In short, his concept boiled down to a belief in the existence of other dimensions that sometimes collide with our world. In addition, the physicist was sure that other dimensions were inhabited by living things.

Recent studies by scientists from the United States and Australia have confirmed the theory of physicist Hugh Everett. According to the findings of the research team, other dimensions do exist. Such conclusions were confirmed by special experiments.

Cosmology of Ancient People: Not Fiction?

A paradoxical discovery can completely change the usual scientific paradigm. However, from the very beginning of its meaningful existence, humanity was confident that existence is not limited to the material world. According to the concept of most ancient peoples, the world has three components. A person can experience only one space - the material world. The other two dimensions, namely the palaces of the gods and the world inhabited by hostile entities, are closed to human perception.

In the cultural heritage of mankind, there are a lot of myths and legends about worlds inaccessible to knowledge. Therefore, it is not strange that one can come to the conclusion that the ancient legends of the ancestors of modern mankind are not fictions. Our ancestors knew about the existence of parallel worlds. Oddly enough, but creatures from it from time to time penetrated our world. It was these guests from other dimensions that became the prototypes of mythical characters.

A message from the past

In advance, the ancient people left an encrypted message to their descendants, the knowledge collected by them was supposed to help modern mankind cope with the threat. In world legends, including Slavic legends, you can find a huge variety of characters that amaze the imagination. After all, it is extremely difficult to come up with such creatures. In addition, scientists refer to the generally accepted law of psychology: a person cannot come up with anything new. The subconscious of a person operates with already seen images of various objects, highlighting some parts of objects. After which the imagination adds up the individual properties of objects and an object of imagination is obtained, which is not something new, but is a competent compilation. A good example is the monster from the movie Alien.

Does it follow that our ancestors could not come up with mythical characters? Some researchers claim that the creatures described in the myths really existed.

Characters of fairy tales, guests from a parallel world?

The most shocking character of Slavic legends is Koschey the Immortal. This creature cannot be called dead or alive, most likely it is on the verge between life and death. Koshchei cannot be killed with a weapon; poisons do not affect him. This creature tries to avoid the sun, lives in deep catacombs or dungeons, where the climate is not at all southern, has an irresistible attraction to beautiful girls, with whom, however, does not have sexual intercourse, but simply enjoys their fear and torment. This character is very reminiscent of the demon from the Indian epic - Windigo.

Killing Koshchei is very difficult, because he does not belong to our world. Most likely, our ancestors talked about a certain ritual that would allow the spirit to be expelled back into its reality.

A ghoul (vampire, cold demon) is a creature that appears in the myths of many peoples. This creature has two components: the essence of a demon from another reality and a material shell that the spirit manages to capture. Tormented by constant hunger, the demon is looking for something to satisfy his thirst for destruction and therefore tries to get enough of the flesh and blood of living people. It is not easy to kill such a creature, because a dead body cannot be deprived of life again. Only fire can destroy these creatures. This explains the use of nuclear weapons by our distant ancestors.

Baba Yaga in folk tales is a rather insidious character. More and more researchers come to the conclusion that this demon is none other than the gatekeeper who guarded the opened portal between dimensions.
