No matter how far modern medicine has gone, doctors still have not been able to look at the world around them through the eyes of mentally ill patients. What can such people see, with whom they can communicate for hours in solitary wards? Of course, no matter what such patients say, doctors write it off as glitches.

Nevertheless, it is believed that with certain injuries and diseases of the central nervous system, a person opens a "third" eye. After all, it has long been known that the human body is designed in such a way that if something is taken away from it, then something is added somewhere: the blind can have perfect touch, and the deaf can have perfect vision. Can the mentally ill see the other world?

A strange patient. Eyewitness Elena

Three years ago, I went to work at a hospital in trauma surgery. She worked as a nurse for only one week, when my uncle came to our department with a fracture. And this patient also caught latches, but was not violent. But for every fireman they put it in a separate box.

In the middle of the night, my uncle began to squabble in boxing, all the nurses woke up, sent me to see what was happening. I open the door, go into the box, the man sits on his bed and mutters something. I ask him about what reason he is talking to himself. And he answers me:

- Why didn't you let the boy in?

- What kind of boy? - I ask the patient.

- Well, what is behind the door. Such a black one.

To be honest, I felt a little uneasy. Peeked out the door for illustrative purposes.

- Huh boy! I probably ran away. Go to bed, the night is deep! Or speak quietly, there are other people here besides you.

Came out, closed the box with a key. I go back to the nursing room. I'm trying to distract myself. And the sisters are already meeting me. They ask what and how.

- Grumbles that I didn't let some boy in. Fool, what to take from him?

And the colleagues grinned, laughed, one and said:

- Yes, he told me in the afternoon that a kid with black hair was following you.

- Yeah, with curls, preschooler. A man swam … - says the second nurse.

And I sat down in a chair and couldn't sleep until the morning. All because it was then a month since my nephew died, he was four years old, dark with curls. Colleagues did not know about this, because I had only worked in the hospital for a week.
