Former US government official Robert Merritt made a startling statement. According to an insider, 37th US President Richard Nixon hid a time capsule in the White House containing classified information about UFOs and aliens.
The cache, they say, is located deep in the dungeon under the official residence of the head of the "citadel of democracy", and only Nixon himself knew the exact location of it. Merritt says that the president dared to take such a step after the famous Watergate scandal, when it became clear to the disgraced statesman that he would soon lose his high post.

Merritt is convinced that the capsule is well hidden, and therefore is probably still intact in the same place. Upon learning of this, former attorney Douglas Cuddy, who defended those responsible for the Watergate scandal, has now made his own statement.
According to the retired lawyer, he contacted representatives of the National Archives and Records Administration, having discussed with them what Merritt said. Management officials felt that if Nixon's cache really existed and was ever found, then it must certainly become public domain. One can only guess what information is hidden in this unique storage.
