The project developers believe that ElectRx will help reduce people's dependence on drugs and open up a new direction in medicine. The latest technology is based on the biological process of neuromodulation, which means that the peripheral nervous system monitors the state of internal organs and records the body's response to infections and diseases.
The electronic chip will help heal diseases such as inflammation of the intestines, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic inflammatory response syndrome of the body. If the project is successful, it will help people fight epilepsy, head injuries and even depression, the military says.
