Around 1 pm on December 31, 2016, a resident of Walla Walla, Washington, USA, saw a white UFO with an orange tail.
An eyewitness wrote to the World UFO Network (MUFON) that he went out of town to fill bird feeders. It was a quiet and clear day, there was not a cloud in the blue sky.
A local resident decided to look for a hawk among the trees and saw a bright white round object with a long tail.
“It was not an airplane, as its front was clearly round,” wrote an eyewitness in his report. "It moved very slowly, completely silent, and then hovered above the tree."
When, after a few seconds, the object changed direction and began to move south, the local rushed after his camera. He managed to take some great photos before the object disappeared into the trees, leaving no trace in the sky.
“I was not afraid at all, I was just a little excited, and I was very curious,” an eyewitness wrote about his feelings during the meeting with the UFO.
