"May beetle does not know the theory and therefore flies." Victor Stepanovich Grebennikov, a person without higher education, but a recognized scientist in the field of entomology and apiology, a member of several Russian and international environmental organizations, a writer.
Official sources are extremely reluctant to write about his main discovery and invention, using the words "supposedly", "like" and "as Grebennikov says." Nevertheless, in 1993, the recognized scientific journal "Technology-Youth", with a serious staff of scientific consultants, where it is "not so easy to get" with any unverified material, published an article "Night flight on a gravitational vehicle" by the inventor of the device - V. S Grebennikov.
Let's try to understand this invention in more detail - what is true and what is fiction in it. It looks very much like a hoax. If not for a few details. One of them is the same publication in "TM", in which, in addition to a description of the flight, there are also fairly clear photographs. Could a reputable magazine publish an outright "bullshit"? It is unlikely that such publications are proud and caring for their reputation.
Further - those same beetles that fly in violation of all laws of physics and gravity: the wing area is not enough, the body weight is too large, but they still fly. Grebennikov was a famous entomologist and could not help but pay attention to this paradox. Moreover, he purposefully studied it, discovering an interesting effect - cavity structures.
According to the author of the discovery, some insects fly not only due to the movement of their wings, but rather due to antigravity created by the extremely ordered structure of microcells responsible for the antigravity effect. True, it should be said that Grebennikov discovered this effect in only one species of Siberian insects, but he did not name the order, family, or species, referring to his unwillingness to destroy this species, even if it was through the hands of technology hunters.

It is also worth mentioning that Viktor Stepanovich was very worried that his discovery would go to the military and they would use it for their own purposes. It should also be noted that the end of the 80s, the beginning of the 90s is not the best time for science - patents were sold in batches to random people and organizations, most often abroad. Which Grebennikov didn’t want.

This discovery was made, as already mentioned, in the late eighties, and three years later the first model of a gravitational vehicle, or, more precisely, an anti-gravity platform, appeared. Grebennikov himself not only designed the apparatus, but also mastered its control, developed the basic principles of flight.
Another indirect factor in the veracity of the invention is the words of Viktor Stepanovich's friend, Yu. N. Cherednichenko, employee, by the way, RAMS. Cherednichenko said that he himself had seen the device several times, but the essence of the invention and the principles had been fixed on paper.
Fourthly, one more reliable fact of the existence of a gravitational vehicle is that the editorial office had very detailed photographs of the device at its disposal. Those who were not too lazy to check them for photomontage were absolutely sure that the pictures were real. That is - the platform really hangs in the air. The photographer who made them, Mikhail Dovgal, also confirms that everything filmed is true.
But the witnesses and the photographer cannot help in any way in revealing the secret of the gravitational vehicle. Since the late nineties, Grebennikov himself has stopped talking about his discovery, even with representatives of laboratory scientists. It is known that in early 2001, the inventor was visited several times from various institutions, but he stopped any talk about his discovery. By that time, his health had deteriorated, he was partially paralyzed. The inventor himself connected this with unexplored factors from his brainchild.
In April 2001, Grebennikov died, taking almost all knowledge about the effect of cavity structures and the gravitational craft with him. Although there were published evidences: Grebennikov wrote his discoveries in the book "My World" and in a number of publications in magazines. Witnesses and the inventor's son recall that the device was literally made of wood and looked quite simple. It was foldable and stowed away in a regular sketchbook.
Today it is difficult to speak with 100% certainty about the existence of a gravitational vehicle. But the latest discoveries (including those made during the development of the "impossible" EmDrive, speak more of the truth than of fiction. Hundreds of people are trying to repeat the scientist's experiments, especially since Grebennikov himself always said that he had not invented anything, just took advantage of the already created nature.
