The 90th Soviet-Russian cosmonaut Yuri Baturin in an interview with the radio studio Sputnik Moldova spoke about the testimony of his colleague, who for a week observed an object of artificial origin that accompanied the orbital station.

Yuri Baturin noted that he had never personally observed a UFO, however, the cosmonauts met with situations that, as it seemed to them initially, went beyond explainable.

“A friend and fellow astronaut of mine saw that the orbital station at a distance of 500-700 meters was accompanied by an object of clearly artificial origin. He identified this by the absolutely strict hexagonal shape of this object. He thought that the object, apparently, with artificial gravity, since it rotated in order to create at least minimal gravity, - says Baturin.

According to our interlocutor, his colleague reported what he saw to the Mission Control Center, where he was asked to send a photograph of an unidentified flying object.

“But before dropping the image to Earth, he decided to look at the monitor at the station itself. And when he saw the image on the screen, it became obvious to him that this was not an object at a distance of 500 meters, but a small nut at a distance of 1 centimeter from the window,”the source said.

According to the astronaut, such illusions are explained by the lack of visual reference to reference points in space.

“When we look out the window, we see that the house is standing 100 meters away from something. We have an anchor, we have a depth of space. And there are no anchor points - endless space. He sees a hexagonal figure and a brain, without a fulcrum to determine the depth of space, and he determined that the object is clearly artificial,”added Baturin.

At the same time, according to the astronaut, man is not alone in the Universe, since, according to him, nature never hopes for a single solution, duplicating them.

“Nature does not count on the fact that man on Earth is the most optimal solution. We're talking about reason. But the mind can exist in other forms,”says Baturin, being sure that the Earth may be of interest to alien intelligence, just as earthlings are interested in other exoplanets.
