The mystery of the flying saucers has been solved. This civilization from the mirror world, ahead of ours, has learned to overcome the barrier between the worlds and is sending its scouts to us.
In the late 1980s, a conference on the problems of modern physics was organized by the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (USA), where Einstein once worked. During a break, a completely confused correspondent of an American popular science magazine jumped out of the conference room and turned to the speaker who was resting in an armchair: “Sorry, I did not understand anything about your supersymmetries, superpowers and superunions! What is the practical meaning of all this gibberish, for example, from the point of view of the average American? " - "None!" - answered the offended scientist, left the chair and went to the bar.
Having quenched his thirst, the scientist realized his mistake: tomorrow this fool will tell his readers that physicists are simply "chasing the X" and wasting a lot of taxpayers' money. Since the break was not over yet, the physicist found a correspondent himself.

The very next year, at the American UFO conference, many speakers adopted the idea of a mirror, or shadow world, and, fantasizing even more, began to claim that the secret of flying saucers had been solved. And judging by their increasing number, the expansion of forces hostile to humanity from the parallel world is being prepared.

The consequences of the conference were not slow to tell. The same average American, frightened by "Star Wars" and other space TV horrors, began bombarding his congressmen with requests: what kind of passions do the "eggheads" preach and where are the government and the president looking?
The Russian UFO press also added fuel to the fire. In a number of media outlets, for example, in the Far East "Gentry" and "Alpha", very funny publications appeared. Some individuals, who claimed that they were direct participants in the events, reported that even Soviet military specialists (in another version, military tourists) in full armor calmly visit these same parallel worlds. The same "Gentry" in other publications asserted that through the "wall" between our worlds all sorts of monsters penetrate to the Earth, and people disappear from the Earth, and in very large numbers. Articles about Soviet military tourists, who simply walk around parallel worlds, were immediately reprinted by the American UFO press, and now it is generally difficult to establish who was the first to launch this "duck". Fortunately, the Russian FSB had other concerns at this time,But the CIA gave the task to two leading American physicists and one Swiss to give unequivocal answers to the questions: is there on Earth next to us a world of shadow, or mirror matter, which is described by modern physical theories? And if there is, how realistic is the interaction with it?
Of course, it is difficult for the author of this article to explain on the fingers what mirror, or shadow matter is, but this task was greatly facilitated by the academician of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics L. M. Gindilis, well-known to ufologists. To a similar question from the editor-in-chief of the journal Science and Religion, he explained in a very succinct way: “Modern physics accepts symmetry between right and left as a fundamental postulate. It follows that each particle of our world must have its own mirror analogue. Mirror atoms, molecules, stars, galaxies and extraterrestrial civilizations can be formed from them. At the same time, the particles of our world can interact with the particles of the mirror world only “gravitationally”.
This is how this magic word was spoken: gravity. It is with its help that it is possible to unequivocally establish whether there is an invisible and imperceptible shadow world on our Earth, inhabited by malicious monsters and aliens. Again, without going into physics, if shadow matter is present on the Earth, this will increase its gravitational mass, but will not affect the inert mass. That is, if we determine the gravitational and inert masses of the planet in different ways, then by their difference we will immediately reveal the presence of shadow matter on it. So we can reassure our readers for now: the hypothesis of the presence of a shadow parallel world around us is not confirmed.
But ufologists put forward a counterargument: in our solar system, a “shadow planet” may lurk, for example, in the orbit of the Earth at its opposite point. That is, there is a reanimation of the idea of the “mirror double” of the Earth, Gloria. But only now astronomically not observable.
However, the authors of this idea did not take into account a mere trifle: our Sun will be invisible for a mirror planet, which means that there will be no life on it. It turns out that you also need to have a "mirror" sun. But! God save us from such a misfortune! In this case, acting gravitationally on our Sun, this invisible star will make it revolve around a common center of mass and a complete mess will come in the Solar System!
But what if such a star will be in the same volume of space as our Sun? This option is even worse: the gravitational forces of our star will increase, which will inevitably affect the orbits of the planets that will move closer to it. But this will change the course of nuclear reactions and increase its luminosity, which will have a catastrophic effect on life on Earth. Calculations show that if this shadow or mirror Sun is similar to ours, then the luminosity of such a “pie with filling” will increase fivefold, the radius of our Sun will decrease by half, and the temperature of the sun's interior will increase by at least one and a half times.
In general, this time the scientists managed to drive the genie they released into the bottle. But it is too early to put an end to the question of the existence of mirror worlds. Large shadow masses and even an entire planet like Jupiter may be in the Oort Cloud, from where comets and some asteroids invade the Solar System. Even if such an invisible planet appears inside the solar system once every hundreds of thousands and millions of years, it can do a lot of troubles with its gravitational attraction. So the question of the presence in the Solar System, and even more so in the Galaxy, of large masses of mirror matter is still open.
