On January 29, 1986, an incident with a UFO occurred in the Russian Dalnegorsk - on the evening of that day, at about 20:00, city residents saw a reddish spherical object in the sky. From the ground, the ball looked about half the size of a lunar disk. The UFO flew parallel to the surface of the earth, but when it reached the hill, designated Height 611, it went down sharply and crashed into its slope.
The object flew at a speed of about 15 meters per second and before the start of its fall was at an altitude of about 700-800 meters. No sound was heard when the UFO crashed into Altitude 611 and crashed, according to all witnesses. Only one witness reported a faint sound that he allegedly heard during a UFO crash.
What do eyewitnesses describe?
Eyewitnesses reported on various descent options, which was demonstrated by a UFO, named for simplicity "Height 611". According to some witnesses, the object flared up when it fell, after which it was no longer visible. According to other eyewitnesses, the UFO rose above the hill and emitted light of varying intensity, moving up and down.
Well, some said that the glow looked like a forest fire lasting about an hour. Drops of silver metal were found on the surface directly at the impact site, in which the analyzes showed the presence of lead. Interestingly, the type of lead found at Altitude 611 showed differences with the composition of lead from local deposits. In the place of the fall, black glass "pearls" in the form of drops and fragments of a grid were also revealed.
The total number of objects found at the height of 611 consisted of approximately 70 grams of lead, 40 grams of glass beads and 5 grams of mesh fragments. The researchers also determined that radiation levels at the point of impact remained normal. The crash site was photographed by the research team with two different cameras. But on the film, to the surprise of everyone, there was nothing during processing.

Chemical analysis results
The glass beads were subjected to chemical analysis, which showed that they consisted primarily of iron, lead and silicon. Several balls left over from the UFO "Height 611" contained a large amount of other elements: zinc, bismuth and rare earth metals. Interestingly, soil analysis from the crash site revealed surprising things.
The chemical composition turned out to be similar to the chemical composition of the samples taken from the site of the Tunguska incident. Recall: about 111 years ago, on June 30, 1908, in an area located on the territory of the present Krasnoyarsk Territory, an object fell, causing several explosions and breaking tens of thousands of mighty trees like matches. And this strange event remains a mystery to this day.
Ultra-durable mesh elements
Fragments of the mesh were analyzed at high temperatures using organic solvents and acids. The mysterious material did not want to dissolve. One of the fragments of the grid consisted of gold, scandium, lanthanum, samarium and sodium. Another fragment of it was made of nickel, gold and silver.
Subsequently, this fragment was heated in a vacuum, while the aforementioned elements were no longer found. But vacuum analysis has identified two more substances - rhenium and molybdenum.
A significant gold grade was found in one of the lattice fragments, corresponding to 1,100 grams per tonne. The concentration of gold in the region is 4 grams per ton, and there are no gold deposits in Dalnegorsk sufficient for mining.
New observations of flying balls
In November 1987, similar flying balloons were seen over the Dalnegorsk District, the Kavalerovsky District, the Olginsky and Terneisky Districts of the Primorsky Territory. One of the balloons flew over Height 611, illuminating the ground at the top of the hill. All the balls observed at that time fully corresponded to the descriptions of the UFO "Height 611", which fell on January 29, 1986.
Alas, the origin of the mysterious flying balls and their essence have not been determined over the past three decades. One possible explanation remains that they were UFOs, because the balls appeared to be controlled by intelligent beings. It is possible that this was the search for an alien UFO scout that crashed at Height 611.
