Probably, most women in their lives once no, no, and even pleased themselves in a fight with rivals - either in kindergarten for a toy or at school for the attention of someone nice, or in adulthood … for various reasons.
Whatever you say, the ladies have been fighting all their lives, this is not surprising.
And how did our great-great-grandmothers find out the passionate relationship with each other?
Purely female wrestling
Russia from time immemorial was famous for fist fights, and Russian women desperately fought hand-to-hand among themselves. The reason most often was theft, other dirty tricks and, of course, adultery of one impudent woman with another's husband. In the process of the fight, the ladies inflicted such injuries on each other: they scratched, bite, dragged by the hair. Purely feminine methods, in general.

Judicial duels
In ancient Russia, within the framework of the law, a woman also applied for judicial fights. If a woman offended her, then the victim fought her on her own. When a man acted as the abuser of a lady, she could put not only herself, but also her husband, father or brother against the offender.
This regulation was established in 1397 in the Pskov judicial charter and applied to all classes, without exception.
For such battles, spears, cudgels, trimmed with iron, and drekolya were used, they did not fight with fists.
Duels of the time of Catherine
During the reign of Peter I, an order was issued to prohibit duels, however, the noblewomen continued to sort things out on their fists - it was both easier and more honest.
Catherine II favored fights, they received punishment only when someone died as a result of battles or received serious injuries. Therefore, during her reign, only three cases of death of women in duels were recorded.
In 1765, a record 20 duels took place, and in eight of them Catherine herself acted as a second, while earlier she had established a strict rule - the fight should only take place until the first blood.
In 1770, there was a conflict between Princess Ekaterina Dashkova and Duchess Foxon, the latter seriously offended Dashkova. The princess, in response, slapped the boor in the face. A fight ensued, the opponents decided to sort things out with swords. Dashkova was not dangerously wounded in the shoulder.
Women's fights: the outcome is fatal
The era of Catherine ended, and fights broke out with renewed vigor. In particular, 17 official duels took place in the St. Petersburg salon of Mrs. Vostroukhova in 1823.
In June 1829, two landowners - Olga Petrovna Zavarova and Ekaterina Vasilievna Polesova - were sorting out the relationship with sabers. It took place in the Oryol province. Zavarova died of wounds to the head on the spot, Polesova, wounded in the stomach, died a day later.
Five years later, their daughters met in a duel, choosing sabers. Polesova died, Zavarova survived.
Another duel took the life of the young actress of the Mariinsky Theater Anastasia Malevskaya, she was killed by a younger rival, to whom Malevskaya was jealous of her lover. The ladies fought, and the girl, whose name remained unclear, killed the actress.
