A medieval scientist outlined four major events for 2017, two of them can be considered as happened, the other two are a matter of time

Several centuries ago, the famous French astrologer, physician, scientist and predictor Michel de Notrdam presented in his book his own version of the future world history.

Some of them have already happened, while others remain in question.

What came true

According to the predictions of Nostradamus, in 2017 the military confrontation between Christians and Islamists will continue. If we understand his message in a broader sense, then Nostradamus, alas, turned out to be right: in some European countries, in particular, in England, a series of terrorist attacks took place that claimed dozens of lives.

He also wrote in his books that this year there will be a change of leaders in France and Germany. In France, this is what happened - the young politician Emmanuel Macron won the elections.

But the change of the German leader has not yet taken place. But this does not mean that the astrologer was wrong. It's just that parliamentary elections in Germany are scheduled for September 2017.

In the 2017 chronology, Nostradamus also mentioned the armed conflict between Iran and Turkey. In this conflict, according to the prophet, the Iranians will win. Fortunately, news stories and newspaper headlines do not yet contain such information.

In addition, according to the predictions of Nostradamus, France will face a shortage of water resources, since the country's water bodies will be polluted, and the population will be limited in drinking water for a long time.

Considering that the whole world is rapidly sliding towards an environmental disaster, the likelihood of a natural collapse is quite likely.

Who is Nostradamus

Michel de Notre Dame was born in 1503 in France. At a rather advanced age for those times, he published his first predictions in a book called "The Prophecies of Michel Nostradamus."

Subsequently, the book - a collection of poems-quatrains called quatrains, became the most famous of his works and still arouses interest among residents of the whole world.

The French scientist wrote his prophecies using a coded language from a mixture of four languages - Latin, Old French, Italian and Greek. There are practically no dates indicated in the quatrains, so their order does not correspond to the chronology.
