Historical artifacts were found during the construction of the kindergarten in Solontsy-2.
According to RosTender.info, the Krasnoyarsk administration has allocated 6 million rubles to save historical finds that may suffer during the construction of a kindergarten in the 10th microdistrict of the Solontsy-2 district.
- A tender has been announced to select a contractor who will take over the rescue work and organize the work of archaeologists at this place, - said Rostender.
In November 2018, this area was included in the list of archaeological heritage sites
The Service for the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Krasnoyarsk Territory NGS24. RU answered what they found during the construction of the kindergarten.
- The archaeological material found during the exploration work is represented by the remains (woolly rhinoceros, fossil horse, primitive bison, reindeer, as well as tubular bones) with traces of anthropogenic impact, archaeologists clarified.
According to scientists, the preliminary dating of the found artifacts is the late Paleolithic (30-22 thousand years ago).
