Our family was very cheerful and friendly. Our grandfather united everyone. This was a person who simply attracted with his energy and positive. When he was gone, we all seemed to be orphans.
A year after the death of my grandfather, my sixteen-year-old cousin had a terrible dream. She had a dream about her grandfather and very insistently demanded to go with him. Even in a dream, my sister understood that the grandfather was dead and with tears asked her not to take her away. She cried that she was still very young. And she also said that she wanted to give birth to children. Grandfather listened to her and said: “Well, Helen, let's do it differently. The time will come, and you will give me someone, and if not, then blame yourself. The sister was so horrified that, without thinking, she agreed.
Many years have passed since then. Lena had many different events in her life. She got married and moved to live in Ukraine. There she gave birth to her first child. Then she divorced and married again. In the second marriage, she became pregnant again, but the pregnancy was very difficult, and the doctors discovered many different pathologies. As a result, my sister decided to go to give birth to Volgograd home. She believed that Ukrainian doctors would not be able to help her, did not trust them.
The birth was difficult. The son Stasik was born very sick: he had a very severe heart defect. The doctors did everything they could, but only two months after the birth, Stasik died.
At the family council, it was decided to bury Stasik in his grandfather's grave.
Burying a baby is not easy. The whole family was in a difficult emotional state. Many then told stories with some mystical tinge. Some relatives, as one said, saw a contented grandfather in a dream, but they could not tell their dreams for sure. I will not lie, I myself once met an old man in my dream. He stood about ten meters away from me and enthusiastically stroked his mustache. It seemed that he was simply beaming with happiness, but I was afraid to approach him.
And then one day, our grandmother told us a terrible story. As if she was walking along a country road and on a hill near three pine trees she saw a wooden frame. And he hears someone humming a lullaby softly. The voice seemed very familiar to my grandmother, and she entered this log house. In a clean and bright room, a grandfather was sitting on a wooden stool and rocking a baby cradle. Seeing his grandmother at the door, my grandfather exclaimed cheerfully: "Look, Olenka, and Lenka gave me a baby!"
