A fascinating survey about the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence was conducted among the inhabitants of Rostov-on-Don by the analysts of the portal "Fortune".
One and a half thousand Rostovites took part in the entertainment research. At the same time, 52% of men expressed their sincere hope that humanity will one day come into contact with alien life forms. Almost so many women shared the aspirations of the strong half of the Don capital. Only 15.8% of the respondents considered belief in other civilizations to be delusional and absurd.
True, most people doubt that aliens will ever be able and will want to fly to Earth. Some have voiced a pessimistic theory called the Fermi paradox, according to which, if other civilizations existed, they would have made themselves felt long ago.
But 2% of Rostovites not only expressed their convinced faith in the aliens, but also stated that they had seen the alien ships with their own eyes.
It should be noted that modern science cannot yet accurately deny or prove the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations, but research in this area is still ongoing.
