In 2013, the country started talking about the secret of the wall of giant granite "bricks" on one of the peaks of Gornaya Shoria, in the taiga beyond Mezhdurechensk. After the geologists Alexander Bespalov and Vyacheslav Pochetkin, who found it, brought the expedition of the Russian Geographical Society there. And the version about the disappeared city, which was … older than humanity, sounded.
And then, with other expeditions, they started talking: there was a metropolis that sustained the impact of the Flood … Or an object standing on a geo-fault was a substation, a beacon for aliens … Or just mountains, "lined" by centuries, winds and frosts on "bricks "Seven to fourteen meters long. But, perhaps, in ancient times, a man built on the mountains he liked. After all, the researchers have already proceeded to all the peaks-valleys in that Kulum mountain system and found more walls …
And with each expedition, the version of the city fell more and more down the ranking list. Scientists said: “There are no artifacts. There are not even remnants of roads!"
But with the finds of last summer, about which their "openers" after comprehension told only now, the version about the mysterious city soared up again! The mountains finally revealed what they had hidden for so long …
Father-spring
And the sacred day became the key to the sacred place …
On June 20, on the eve of the summer solstice, in the tent camp in the Lost World at an altitude of 1085 meters, the morning began with an emergency. The water disappeared from the spring, gushing twenty meters up from the tents. More precisely, old, muddy water remained in the "pool" lined with stones. And the spring stopped beating.

- I then told the guys in the camp that we need to look for a new spring. Found it - to the left, higher than the old one. He poked the stick - it failed. “Here we will dig,” he decided. And the guys, they were all from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dug up quickly. A new spring, strong, with such pure tasty water, gushed out, as if waiting for us, - recalls the geologist Bespalov. - And in the morning, already on the day of the solstice, we sprinkled ourselves with new water and performed the ceremony. Shamanka - northern traditions - beginnings, Alexandra (Shura). Then we stood in a circle, raised our hands, turning to the sun. Nobody prepared. And it passed, as if someone told us, as if in a written way …
Later they realized that in general, everything was not accidental. On the recently opened sacred mountain, on the right day and hour, 12 people asked the sun and the ancestors-ancestors ("by the way, Shoria and the word ancestor have one root") for mercy to the country and the world. And after all, everyone in spirit is guardians, "siloviki" …
“And the year of the Fire Rooster was special. Year of the first bird. First Creator. Many cycles and forces coincided that year. We switched on, new energies started working.
- Wouldn't you have turned on without 12 keepers?
- Who knows … But after the ceremony, the water returned to the old spring. And we named the new one in honor of the first creator - the Father's.
Claw
Several days passed. That group left the camp, went down, and went home. She was replaced by the Slav brothers, the translator Volodya and Renda from the Czech Republic, stoically enduring the difficult climb up the mountain.
- Renda found me on social networks, wrote that he has been studying megaliths for a long time in his country and in Europe. And that he really wants to see the wall in Gornaya Shoria and compare, - says the geologist Bespalov. - And the wall struck him … Despite the rains, he stayed here not five, but ten days. And before leaving he made a discovery.
…It was raining. But Renda, after hearing the story about the springs, went upstairs to look at the Father's water. Soon he returned - for a shovel. And again he ran upstairs.
- ABOUT! Where did he go? - I got up from under the tent by the fire, went to look. He used a spatula to remove moss from a large stone lying farther and above the new spring. I looked and suddenly … I immediately recognized, understood, and began to help him. Soon I broke down and came to find out what we were doing, translator. And so three of us, in an hour, we removed the moss from the stone.
- It's a paw! Falcon?! Bird?! Renda said.
- No, reptile. The paw of a turtle or … a dragon, - said Bespalov. - Three-toed. With a characteristic process. The paw is three and a half meters wide and about seven in length.
- And the claws? - I already ask Bespalov, six months later, bending over the material evidence - a photograph.
“The most interesting thing is that Renda later found a claw, quite suitable, nearby, but on the other side of the mountain. A figured stone that has received such a shape, and it is clearly not made by nature.
- But as a geologist, can you explain the origin of both paws and claws?
- This is the same granite from which the wall is made. She is on the right, close. There is horizontal folding in the wall, vertical folding in the paw. It is still possible in nature, such a close proximity, if there is a geological fault. But here is another figured form - a claw, and the figured stones we have found - do not fit any explanation.
- Could a stone like a claw be chipped off somewhere and dragged by the elements?
- Not. It is from construction. Where it has collapsed, it lies close there.
- Could the lava flow take the form of a claw?
- Not. I am convinced there was no volcano there. In addition, besides the stone paw, we found a fragment of an even more interesting shape next to the claw. The granite block is a meter wide, twelve meters long. Exactly in the middle is a thickening. At the ends - thickening. Renda was the first to realize that it was a gate, the upper part of it. And then everything became clear: the thickening in the middle - to strengthen the central part of the ceiling, so that the gate would not fall through. And the same thickening - in places where the ceiling was placed on two pillars. Such a construction, too, cannot be explained by nature alone.
According to the researchers, the gate once stood on the mountain itself. And the sculpture - a powerful paw - met the people, lay in front of the gate. A granite wall towered nearby … What and when destroyed them is unknown.
… By the way, if you mentally enter the gate, follow them along the slope, then the subsidence of the earth will puzzle you. And the thought that this is a road will amaze …
- The road? Well. But rather, there was something underground, like a tunnel, collapsed, subsided.
… So, it means that a city surrounded by a wall, with watchtowers, an ancient metropolis the size of Moscow within the Garden Ring, as it was painted, analyzed and postponed for the time being by "Cosmopoisk" several years ago, could it be ?! And from a million to several million people could live in it. Under protective walls 40-45 meters high …
And the gates behind the statue, behind the dragon's paw, did not lead directly to the city, but to the valley, surrounded by three additional walls, to the right of the metropolis. And that was just the entrance? Filter? There was a search of guests - invited and uninvited?
Renda was shocked. And these findings made me think about real structures, - says the geologist Bespalov. - But, for me, not for the city, but for the technical facility.
- And how did Renda even notice, recognized the sculpture hidden by the taiga - a paw?
- They have something similar in Europe. And he, having come to us in Siberia, was looking for something similar. And he was looking for a solution to the ancient secrets of Europe and Asia. And he will come again soon. The city is calling.

What else did the builders leave behind?
The dispute about who the author of "Kuzbass Stonehenge" is - Mother Nature or a person in distant antiquity, who completed here and there, adapted these mountains for himself, has been going on for five years and is not over.
The builder's hand is visible:
- in cement. In a layer of mortar found in two places, which fastened one concrete block to another, which suggests … concrete technology. They were discovered by the Kosmopoisk expedition in 2016. The taken samples of the solution were then taken to Moscow, transferred to specialists in the field of building materials and mineralogy. And the ancient cement caused shock in the laboratories. And controversy - for and against. Nobody knows what cement should look like in thousands of years;
- in the signs of rigging. The discoverers of the wall - geologists - were the first to find semicircular protrusions on stone blocks. For them, you could pick up a cable or ropes and lift the block. Such protrusions are found in all ancient stone cities of the world;
- in respect of. According to the scheme, the object is a clear octahedron, with mountain peaks in the corners, oriented to the cardinal points. With additional walls, possibly for some technical or protective purpose;
- in one niche specially closed by someone (not next to the dragon's paw, but in another place next to the wall). The rectangular opening (five by six meters) is filled with stones of various compositions and shapes. And not horizontal masonry, but a type of "Christmas tree", polygonal (man-made). “Nature cannot put it this way, it looks like a man-closed entrance to a tunnel,” said the members of the Kosmopoisk expedition who found that place in 2016. Moreover, in their opinion, people built up a natural granite wall in places, and the entrance to the tunnel was laid about four to thirteen thousand years ago. In that era, similar buildings of megalithic civilizations were made all over the world. And they have come down to our time in the form of the mysteries of the stone city of Machu Picchu (in Peru) or the English Stonehenge.
