Deep under the water in the Pacific Ocean, a research robot stumbled upon a mystical trail that scientifically - both biologically and geologically - cannot be explained. Even scientists are inclined to believe that this is some kind of large creature, but no known species can be there - nothing fits the description.
This site is located in the ocean area between Mexico and Hawaii. These areas, known as the Clarion-Clipperton Zone, are licensed for prospecting drilling. The robot sank to a depth of more than 3500 meters for research. As a result, traces were found.
Experts have determined that the average diameter of the “foot” is almost 2.5 m, and its depth is about 13 cm. It is very similar to some kind of trail along which this creature walks - this is confirmed by the radar panorama of the images.
The researchers note that the movements of a certain creature go a little zig-zag, but the general direction can still be seen quite clearly. Perhaps these traces appeared at different times, but, nevertheless, they arose relatively recently.
The amazing formations, experts say, cannot be the result of geological processes, so most likely it is some kind of organism. The only problem is that not a single biological creature known to mankind is capable of living at a depth of about 4000 m, all the more so large. The question is still open …
