The most fantastic versions are associated with the idea of a spaceship. These versions are most often created and illustrated by science fiction writers in their works. However, scientists are also trying to keep up with this creativity. To list all the co-authors of the version - "The moon is a spaceship" - is a thankless task. There would be too many names in such a list.

Among the writers should be noted HG Wells, who in 1901 published the book "The First Men on the Moon". Wells imagined the hollow moon very modestly - caves in its bowels. The author paid much more attention to selenites - insect-like creatures that hide in the bowels of the moon from the night cold and look very strange from the point of view of aliens - people from Earth.
The writers of our time are venturing into much more surprising versions of the structure of the hollow moon.
The Hollow Moon is a spaceship. The moon as a multi-tiered structure with a complex hollow structure, inhabited by different creatures - this is all vividly described by Yuri and Alexander Tararev in the epic "Cradle of Civilizations". The planet Meskhia (aka the Moon) is inhabited by huge Meskhians - the progenitors of earthlings, who live in the depths of the planet in the spaceship Nadezhda they built. The Meskhians created a world similar to the Earth inside the Moon. This version combines everything - the hollow Moon and the spaceship and the role of the Moon and its inhabitants in the formation of human society on Earth.
Science fiction writers do not bother to give arguments to prove their versions of the structure of the hollow moon. And rightly so.
Scientists are also not very convincing in presenting their hypotheses about a hollow moon.

Scientists often use science fiction language to build convincingly their theories of the hollow moon. Their schemes of an artificial structure, a spaceship with a hollow interior, etc. sometimes look even more fantastic than the ideas of science fiction writers on this topic. To paraphrase the well-known phraseological unit, let us leave the Caesarean to the scientists, and give the science fiction writer Bogovo! Indeed, in fact, theory is the creation of human hands and mind, and fantasy is a product of the influence of some higher forces. And the more fantastic this product is, the higher these "higher" forces are located.
So, the arguments in the versions of scientists about the structure of the hollow moon
The first argument
When hitting the surface of a massive body, the Moon "buzzes like a bell".
Based on this effect, some scientists argue that the moon is hollow. However, it has long been known that not only hollow bells can buzz, but also massive stone and metal blanks hanging on a cable. Such devices, for transmitting information over long distances, are still used by primitive peoples who cannot make a hollow bell. In addition, scientists have not recorded any natural moonquakes.
Argument two
The average density of the lunar material is 3.34 g / cc. This is less than the average density of terrestrial rocks - 5.54g / cc.
The third argument
All craters supposedly have approximately the same depth, regardless of the area and perimeter of the annular shaft.
The second and third arguments should be considered together, since they are reduced to one hypothesis - about a strong surface titanium shell of artificial origin.
NASA's Gordon McDonald says this low density is indicative of a void inside the moon. This version also agrees with the hypothesis of a titanium shell with a hollow frame structure, due to which meteorites cannot make deep craters on the lunar surface.
These arguments and the versions built on them are easily refuted.
The insignificant contribution of the small iron core to density fully explains the reduced density of the lunar material and proves the absence of significant voids inside the moon. In addition, the satellite of Saturn, the planet Io, has a density comparable to the lunar value. A hollow titanium shell with a density of 4.5 g / cc cannot greatly affect the average density of the Moon, since the content of this metal in the crust is low.
They even more convincingly refute the hypothesis of a hollow moon of manifestations of volcanic activity, which is convincingly evidenced by the finds of the corresponding rocks of materials and active gas release in the centers of lunar craters, experimentally established in 1958 by the famous Soviet astrophysicist N. A. Kozyrev and currently observed even from Earth. Scientists have convincingly proven that most lunar craters are filled with volcanic materials, that is, they were not formed when meteorites hit.
Reputable scientists do not even seriously discuss the theory of the hollow moon, but prove other versions. The moon is a terrestrial planet, not a spaceship or a natural bubble inflated by the fantasies of pseudo-scientific authors.
