Not so long ago, rumors spread in the regional capital that a vampire creature known as the Chupacabra lived in one of the dumps in the city. Photos of an unknown beast were even published on the network. The information caused a certain resonance and heated debate.
Recently, representatives of the Samara research association "Kosmopoisk" denied the data on the Chupacabra. At least about her whereabouts.
- Information about the alleged Chupacabra in Samara does not correspond to reality. The photos were taken on January 4 in the town of Nyandoma, Arkhangelsk region, the organization said.
The progorodsamara.ru correspondent found the author of the scandalous photos. It really turned out to be a resident of Nyandoma - 28-year-old Nikolai Vavilin. By the way, he does not consider the animal to be some kind of fantastic species.

- The photo was taken in our city at the intersection of Sovetskaya and Old Kievskaya, opposite the former Meat Processing Plant. What kind of animal it is, I do not know. Photographed through the car window. He did not go out, went home, took him food, but when he returned, he was gone. I drive there four times every day, never seen again.
I think that this is some sick fox, the only thing that seemed to me that she was blind or very poorly seeing. Her dogs might have gotten kicked. We live practically in the forest, with us they often enter the city limits. I don't really believe in Chupacabra.
