A small village of thirty courtyards in the south-west of Bashkortostan, of which there are hundreds and even thousands throughout Russia, has recently begun to attract close attention of ufologists and journalists. Firstly, in the vicinity of the village, valuable archaeological finds were found that are not very typical for this territory; secondly, the anomalous zone in which the settlement is located aroused genuine interest.
The villagers had long known that something was wrong with their land, there was some kind of secret.
The village itself is of a rather late origin and appeared after the October Revolution, in 1919, when the romantic-minded inhabitants of the village of Bizhbulyak decided to organize their own commune and move to an uninhabited place located along one of the regional roads. They chose the Belebey region and founded their own village, which they named in a purely revolutionary way Brik-Alga, which translated from Turkic means "Together forward." Until the 1990s. the village lived its full life, but with the collapse of collective farms and the closure of previously built factories, the village was almost deserted. And it is most likely that the fate of this former commune would have repeated the fate of many hundreds of villages of the former Soviet Union, if amazing events did not begin to take place in the village. As eyewitnesses who have visited this mysterious place note,near the village, some unusual and surprisingly even long strip of dense fog will descend, then a strange and unprecedented glow will appear, then a bright spot will appear, and then again disappear. Sometimes in the forest near the village strange rustles and noises are heard, which cannot be attributed to animals or people walking along the path, especially since no traces are noticed in suspicious places, but someone's invisible presence is always felt. During archaeological excavations near Brik-Alga, in addition to coins, unique household items dating from the 14th century were found: axes and fishing tackle with hooks, weapons, penknives and even a mirror decorated with images of four mysterious animals.
In the morning, regardless of whether it rained or not a drop at night, a bright rainbow rises over the village. But the most unusual and inexplicable phenomenon was the strange clearings with chopped trees discovered at the edge of the forest. The trunks of age-old trees were all cut off at a height of about 3.3–3.5 m, which means that a person could not cut off their tops, he simply would not get it, especially since the tree trunks in their lower part were completely bare and smooth. There are several such glades in the forest, and all the cut trees make up a circle. The tornado, too, could hardly complete an even circle without completely affecting the weak trees outside it. A number of glades amazed even seasoned journalists: on them tree trunks, their crowns, grass under the trees were twisted in a spiral. Local residents believe that the same tornadoes are to blame for this,which funnel everything in their path, but do not necessarily uproot vegetation.
There is also a ghost in the village: the villagers often saw a horse walking in the vicinity of Brik-Alga at dawn, which then, with the appearance of the first rays of the sun, disappeared without a trace in the air. Locals believe that it may have been the spirit of the horse; after archaeologists found numerous pieces of harness, bridles and saddles in the excavations and took them with them, the ghost disappeared.
Even the weather is abnormal in Brick-Alga. Spring here comes much later than in neighboring villages, and autumn - earlier, in winter the village literally falls asleep with snow, and the wind blows with such force that it pulls out trees. Perhaps these are just the climatic features of this territory, over which warm and cold air masses often mix, causing hail and numerous tornadoes, which are not typical for other regions of Bashkiria, but it is likely that the weather features of the village are a direct reflection of the anomalousness of this zone - in scientists have yet to figure it out.
