Mars is a practically unexplored planet and all the knowledge of people about this planet is based on numerous images from satellites and data from Mars rovers, but is that enough? Humanity is actively developing the idea of colonizing the Red Planet, but so far there are no suitable technologies for this.
However, I have repeatedly heard versions and hypotheses about highly developed civilizations of Mars, which could visit Earth in ancient times, share knowledge with people, but where did this civilization disappear then?
I will clarify that these are just my arguments, versions and hypotheses that can be based on various data of scientists and ufologists and I do not claim to be 100% plausible and I have no evidence.
To begin with, I want to note that a civilization may still exist on Mars, which is either not numerous, or it is located under the surface of the planet. This may be evidenced by the strange tunnels that fall into the pictures of NASA.
Mars is a rather deserted planet, but among some conspiracy theorists there is a version that they show us completely different pictures than they actually get. Can governments and the military hide something from us?
Secondly, there is a version that the Martian civilization could either destroy itself completely as a result of an atomic war, or almost completely, and then also go under the surface, because there are no conditions for life above. What do scientists and ufologists think?
