In South Africa, 8-year-old Sanele Masilela got married on the orders of the ghost of his great-grandfather, who appeared to him in a dream. The boy took as his wife 60-year-old Helen Shabangu, who was already married to the boy and has 5 children.
The boy told his parents that Sanele's great-grandfather, after whom he was named, appeared in a dream and demanded that the descendant marry immediately. As it turned out, my great-grandfather died unmarried.
The parents decided that the requirement of the ancestor must be fulfilled so as not to bring trouble to the family. The wedding was planned for two months. 100 guests attended the wedding of 8-year-old Sanela and 60-year-old Helen.
An unusual couple got married, and they even kissed. However, this marriage was not legally registered. The groom's parents decided that the ghosts did not need marks in the documents.
“This is the first time this has happened in our family. We named Sanele after his great-grandfather, who asked him to marry in a dream. Our son chose Helen because he really loves her,”said the groom's mother.
