American entrepreneur Josh Bocanegra issued a statement that by 2045, raising people from the dead will become a reality. He explained such a bold forecast by the belief that in three decades, the mind of people will become possible to transfer into bionic bodies.
Josh Bocanegra noted that he sees a hopeless search for ways to stop the aging of the body, since this process seems to him natural and generally inevitable. At the same time, from the point of view of an entrepreneur, this does not mean that it is impossible to prolong a person's life many times over in another, more “realistic” way.
The essence of the scientist's proposal is to keep the human brain in a frozen state until the technology is developed enough to create a new bionic body for it (that is, artificially created, but not too different from the "real" in terms of operation and functions). Such bodies, according to the forecast of Josh Bocanegra, will become a reality by the middle of this century, although at first they will be available only to very wealthy people. According to the entrepreneur, the "technology of the future" will extend human life for at least 500 years, preserving their personality during this period. This will allow people to "come closer to immortality," a number of media outlets quoted Bakanegra as saying.
For the most part, serious experts considered the predictions voiced by Bocanegra to be unreasonably bold, although they admitted that some "prerequisites" for the emergence of the described technologies exist today - as an example, we can name prostheses controlled by the power of thought.
