Finally, I gathered my thoughts, "rammed" a huge layer of information in my head a little, and began to see what I was in a hurry to share, "while it is hot." It's like movies about spies or secret agents, the classic example of which is the famous 007. But I am more impressed by the comparison with the movie "Tuxedo" with Jackie Chan in the title role. An ordinary person becomes a super-spy, receiving a mega-fancy gadget in the disguise of an ordinary evening tuxedo, which multiplies all abilities at least three times. And at first Jackie cannot cope with a suit that is too "advanced" for him, but gradually he gets used to the ending, according to all the classic canons of Hollywood, he becomes a real hero who saved the country / beautiful lady / planet / universe from inevitable destruction. It's the same here. At first, when you work with information, you compare, compare, analyze, an unbridled force of chaos opens up inside you, which at first cannot be controlled. You want to learn about this and that at the same time, and as a result, you scatter your attention and the main point slips away. Since I am a supporter of holistic perception, no matter what, whether it is science (I do not recognize the division into sciences, believing that the division of one Natural Science happened at about the same time when the word "Europe" appeared on the maps and when "division" became widespread), the study of the Past or the search for their roots, then I accordingly applied an approach that implies integrity - that is, I ordered things that at first glance could not be ordered, but nevertheless, this approach did not always bear fruit, giving as a result the result described above. Therefore, I studied some parts of the whole separately and thoughtfully, without being distracted by anything else, and simply wrote down my observations in the form of a post about "antiquity", missing a lot of details, since in one article dedicated to PART of the whole it is impossible to convey the whole essence of the WHOLE, no matter how you try. This article will be just an attempt to show the whole, and draw certain conclusions from this, based on the ancient wisdom "everything is cognized in comparison." I collected information for a long time and painstakingly. (When I say "information", as a rule, I mean not written sources, but the remaining material evidence of urban planning and the arrangement of cities, captured in photographs, lithographs, drawings, paintings). Something survived, some did not, but considering that, for example, in the 19th century, there was no Photoshop yet, and it would be very difficult to fake photos with high quality, so that it would not be noticeably difficult,I will actively use for comparison and comparison these real documentary evidence of material heritage, which has not survived to our time for one reason or another. Another point - I personally consider the artists of the 18th century who depicted ancient ruins, the main ones of which were Giovanni Batista Piranesi and Robert Hubert - documentary filmmakers who used a brush and easel instead of a camera lens, with light, insignificant speculations. You can also see the full veracity of their drawings in this article.who, instead of a camera lens, used a brush and an easel, with light, insignificant speculations. The article also presents a comparison of "antique" architecture with traditional Russian wooden architecture, which has come down to us, being passed on as a large branch of art from generation to generation, and bearing the original appearance of the most magnificent towers and chorus, which so vividly draws the imagination when you read " The Tale of Tsar Saltan "by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin and a description of the castle, located on the island of Buyan, ruled by Guidon.
The most valuable sources of information for me were my numerous walks around Kiev, as well as a close study of those buildings that have:
1. There is "antique" symbolism
2. There are no photos of their construction
3. The official version concerning this building suffers from inaccuracies and inconsistencies (in particular, this applies to buildings built by the phantom Gorodetsky - as I found out, by an architect who may have existed in reality, but was used to "cover up" the fact, and from where they took such atypical buildings for Kiev.)
Well, so that there would be fewer questions, I offer two questionnaires that you can fill out and leave in the comment form under this message.
So, you can finally start!

What can no ancient city do without?
1. Antique column
Main varieties
a) Form of the Alexander Column in St. Petersburg
Inside this column there is a rod and a winding of copper wire, which is then removed as unnecessary and a spiral staircase is made. Above - a "booth" where a resonator with a vertically standing "king-cannon" and an inverted bell is installed. Usually these "booths" turn into a bell tower. And Dmitry An, and pro vladimir, and Kadykchansky, and Igor Gusev were right, here is a drawing.
This is the column of the cathedral in Vienna. And here is the column in Rome (drawing by Piranesi)
b) The shape of the Alexandria Column in Alexandria, or Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square in London, UK.
And here is the same column in the Radziwill Chronicle.
c) The third type is the column in the upper picture, in front of the fragment of the Radziwill Chronicle on the far right. Example - Column in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic
This is how it should look - without a monument, with a spherical condenser on top
d) Column with boats sticking out of it (eternal flame)
This picture is generally a bomb, because you can see the antediluvian lanterns on it!
And the last type of column - Yekaterinburg, Russia
The base varies, often as you see in the photo above, "antique".
At the top of the column a la Alexandrovskaya in St. Petersburg is a statue of the "Roman" emperor, often Octavian Augustus. Also at the top is the goddess of victory Nike or Victoria, with wings and a laurel wreath in her hand. Well, on Hubert's panel, we see that the following sphere was also installed on the top:
You can see a small collection of surviving columns here: "Collection of columns from around the world".
2. Ancient Cathedral
Criteria:
1. Style - as in St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
2. Dome:
3. Oriented to the old North Pole - to the Greenland region
4. It is replete with "pagan" symbols and a massive colonnade supporting an entablature with a triangular pediment (the number of columns is often 6 or 8)
This is the Trinity Cathedral in Simbirsk, which has not survived to this day. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is a Roman Pantheon with only a dome! Just cover the top with your hand!
This is another subspecies of cathedrals - a cathedral with a dome, like a pantheon.
New York
And a similar cathedral in Malta.
Another one in New York
And in Turin
You can see the collection of cathedrals with a dome here: "A collection of cathedrals from all over the world".
Cathedral with a dome and an annex forming a semicircle. Obelisk - strictly in the center of the cathedral.
Kazan Cathedral Peter
Close the top and get the pantheon.
Vatican
Naples
Estate Arkhangelskoe, Moscow region
3. Arc de Triomphe
Types:
1. Large arch (the most popular is in Paris)
Or in Bucharest
2. Arch with a large central opening and two smaller ones on the sides. Height - 21 meters, width - 25.7 meters, depth - 7.4 meters. The central span is 11.5 meters high and 6.5 wide, the side spans are 7.4 m and 3.4 m each. Munich, Germany.
Paris, France
In the middle part there are bas-reliefs depicting people in "antique" clothes and some event from the life of the ancients. Above the top of each column is a statue in antique robes or vestments.
3. Arch with one central opening. Height - 15.4 m, width 13.5 m, span depth 4.75 m, span width - 5.33 m.
Arc de Triomphe in Rome, Italy
4. Here is an arch.
France
Jordan
These are the most basic types of arches. Brickwork, usually faced with marble. This one is in Macedonia.
What is above - the drawing of Piranesi will eloquently tell us about it.
And this is Peter.
And here's another
Dreamers!
More arches: "A collection of triumphal arches from around the world."
4. Obelisk
A stone obelisk, ordinary without inscriptions, "Egyptian" with hieroglyphs, or ordinary slabs, as, for example, in the Scottish city of Glasgow.
5. Fortress in the shape of a star
Of the features, I will only mention the turrets, which were erected for better defenses. And you could stick a gun through the hole and fire at random. And the balloon on top is just for beauty.
Entrance - with a triangular pediment, or without, but always with balls. The purpose is still unknown to me, but the fact that it is part of a power plant, such as turrets on a transformer, I have no doubts.
Naarden
Entrance to Kronborg Castle, Denmark
But inside this castle:
Komarno, Slovakia
Nevsky Gates, Peter and Paul Fortress, Peter
Nave Breeze
Palma Nova
Pillau, Baltiysk, Russia
6. "Antique" cemetery
With a bunch of obelisks, which is a mini-antique city. An example is Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires.
7. "Chess" layout
The clearest example is Buenos Aires. Straight lines, parallels and perpendiculars only.
More here: "Chess Layout".
And by the way - if you think that it is very easy to do it, do not be lazy and look at the layout of the modern city of Dubai - the most perfect and expensive city of our civilization.
8. "Ancient" temple
It was located, as a rule, on a dais. The prototype is the Parthenon. 8 columns in front.
Or a temple in Sevastopol
Fewer columns - 6 - temple of Hephaestus or not surviving temple in Kerch
Here, came across a comment:
ev_gen_iys:
I decided to dig deeper, but use the "great and mighty".
PAR - he is.
HAIR DRYER - each held in his hands, or even used.
OH - i.e. not you, but …..
Now a question. Does anyone know what a heater is? And what about the steam heater?
And I know. I saw, touched, and even disassembled. So, the structure of the building is a heater
without external housing. I do not know how it can be used for its intended purpose, but
I suppose that this is the cult of CARGO. And even earlier it was used on those very giant
mines. Maybe….
Here is the Parthenon in detail: "The Athenian Parthenon, or something is wrong with technology."
Temple with the Corinthian order (Paris, France)
9. Gothic Cathedral
Here I was already analyzing that the Gothic could have been built at the same time as antiquity, using the example of Milan Cathedral, but they had different functionality - they were some kind of transformers (in particular, this is striking)
And here are the ruins of a Gothic cathedral in Rome
10. "Backfilling" cities
Another sign is the "filling up" of cities, following the model of St. Petersburg, the first floor is three-quarters covered with soil, most often - sand or clay, which indicates a catastrophe, and not about cultural layers. This layer is about two meters, sometimes more. This is not the case in European cities.
11. "Bell tower" with a high spire that ends with a gold ball-capacitor and a cross-antenna / transmitter. For better signal transmission. As a rule, it is located on the territory of a "star" power plant, most often in the center, or there is an X-shaped power plant nearby (this is the law. If there is no one of the two, look for old engravings)
This transmitter is in Kuskovo, Moscow, Russia.
Petropavlovka
Kiev
And there are infinitely many such examples. All "stars" obey this rule - from the smallest to the largest.
Here's an image to make it clearer:
Remains of the bell tower. "Ancient Roman" ruins
The main rule is that in modern times these "transmitters" are called "bell towers" and have, as has been seen, a considerable height - like a TV tower, for example.
12. Aqueducts. The coolest ones are stacked without mortar and stand under their own weight, the less steep ones are brick or stone with mortar, according to Kushelev's version, they are evaporation complexes
Simple aqueducts
Complex or multi-level - two or more "floors"
13. Bridges
The clearest example is the bridge in Rome. Instead of angels, there are usually columns (lamp posts?)
Tokyo (lanterns from above are attached to the columns obviously later)
And Peter
Melbourne, Australia
14. Artificial channels
"Clad" in stone or granite. We hammer into Google "Channels Peter" and enjoy.
When viewed from google maps have the same width throughout. Example - San Francisco
Or Brussels
15. Rotunda
Regular with a dome
More complex
"Incomplete" (author's name), on the embankment of the sea / river / lake
16. Buildings that are now called theaters / opera houses. What was inside there before is unknown. Scheme - a large dome in front and an extension in the back, or without it
Paris
Kiev
Odessa
Dresden
Berlin
17. Roads
Now let's move on to architecture.
Architecture
I do not even know where to start. If you have already got your eyes on the “antique” architecture, then you will see it from a kilometer away. Moreover, knowing the characteristic distinguishing features, you see their identity scattered in different parts of our planet, and you can also distinguish the "original" from the "copy"
So, here are the signs that are associated with ancient architecture that are known to me today:
Gables above windows and doors
Triangular pediment
Triangular pediments as part of the casing in Russian wooden architecture
Above the doors
It was believed that the glazed part of the window is the most accessible to evil spirits. All the symbolism of wooden carving is based on the most important pagan deities of our ancestors - the sky god Svarog and the sun god Dazhbog. And since, according to Slavic mythology, Dazhbog is the son of Svarog, the symbols of the sky in decorating windows are usually placed above the sun, as if covering it from above.
Since ancient times, the top of the window - "kokoshnik", has been most skillfully designed. The “roof” of the finial was of great importance, the main one in the upper part of the framing was usually various symbols of the Sun (half-sun), which kept the house from darkness and evil spirits.
Arc pediment
And Russian wooden architecture
Torn pediment
And Russian architecture
This is also a wooden house, the information is reliable.
And the last type of pediment is straight
Well…
Arch masonry, or around the second floor window (typical for stone structures)
On the central stone there is an image of someone's head, or some symbol or sign.
Framing decorative columns as usual
And semicircular decorative
The 3 main types of columns and orders are Doric, Ionic and Corinthian.
Example for the first type of columns
Example for the second type
Example for the third type
The first two examples are taken by me from the Scottish city of Edinburgh, the last from the city of St. Petersburg.
Continuation: Part Two.
