The abilities of Natalia Demkina from Saransk were discovered in 1997. Natalia was 10 years old.
“I was at home with my mother when I began to see more than usual. I looked at my mother's body as if through and through, and told her about the organs that I saw. I could switch between normal vision of the world around me and acquired, medical vision. In a split second, I start looking at the human body like an X-ray machine, and proceed to a detailed analysis,”Natasha said.
Mom refused to believe her daughter until one incident. One day a family friend came to visit them. After the man left, the girl spoke about his bowel problems. A few weeks later, an acquaintance of the Demkins was diagnosed with bacterial overgrowth in the intestine.
Parents wanted to protect their daughter from intrusive attention, but rumors about Natasha's abilities quickly spread. People began to visit the girl for a "health check".
Without medical education, Natasha successfully identified cysts, tumors, and ulcers. When she didn't know the name, she described what she saw. Soon doctors, journalists and skeptics went to the unusual teenager.
Worldwide attention
The British edition of the Sun invited the phenomenon girl to demonstrate her ability in January 2004. In London, Natalia was asked to talk about the health of reporter Briony Warden, who had been in a car accident a month earlier. The woman hid all visible traces of injuries.

In the UK, the girl attended the TV show "This Morning". On the show, Natalia studied the health of Dr. Chris Styles, who was skeptical of her abilities.
Natasha made assumptions about the doctor's health problems, after which, in front of the public, the man underwent a scan of the body with high-tech medical equipment.
The result amazed the audience, and Chris Styles believed in extraordinary abilities. Without medical knowledge, Natalia accurately described the disorders in the doctor's body.
After leaving the UK, Natalia Demkina was shown on the Discovery Channel in the documentary "The Girl with X-ray Eyes".
The Committee for Skeptical Inquiry in the United States summoned Natalia for a diagnosis of her abilities, which was mixed.
The girl was tasked with identifying health problems in seven volunteers in 4 hours. Natalia was given seven cards with different diagnoses. She correctly identified four people. Researchers considered Demkina's result insufficient to recognize her ability.
After testing Natalia was outraged by the unbearable conditions of the experiment and psychological pressure. Usually a girl takes people one at a time. In the experiment, Natalia examined seven people at the same time, each of them declared one disease.
According to Natalya, after the examination, she was not provided with the medical reports of the patients to compare the indicators.
“For example, I didn’t see a metal plate in one guy’s head. Or maybe she wasn't there? In another test, I was asked to point to one person in seven who has a scar on their body. And there were two women with completely identical scars, and in the same place. Only the reasons for the origin of these scars were different: one had the appendix cut out, and the other had a gynecological operation. I told the commission about this misunderstanding, and they say that I should only point to one person. I freaked out and pointed to the one with gynecology, because it is more serious than appendicitis. And for the commission's credit, it turns out, they needed a woman with a scar from appendicitis."
The last foreign test took place in Japan. Natalia Demkina was invited by Professor Yoshio Machi, who studies the unusual abilities of people. The girl immediately asked to take patients one at a time and provide medical reports after the examination.
In Japan, Natalya coped with all the tasks, including the diagnosis of the dog.
The X-ray girl also showed the ability of clairvoyance. The researchers asked for a diagnosis from the photograph. To the surprise of the scientists, Natalya agreed and identified human liver cancer from a small photograph.
Doctors of Science from the Center for Human Studies at the University of Tokyo gave Natalia a standing ovation. After the experiment, the girl was given a document confirming her abilities.
“I can complete tasks related to medical diagnostics. I can break down diseases into different energy levels. I see where the disease originates from. It not only depends on our physiological body. Maybe a person deserved the disease "thanks" to his work, maybe it arose from strong emotions, maybe picked it up as an energy infection, or maybe his ailment is just the result of functional disorders of the body. This classification needs to be clearly understood. This is what I am trying to study perfectly,”Natalya told the Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent.
