“The soul can leave the body and exist independently of it,” says Todd Akamesis, who has been traveling in other dimensions since the age of five.
The 47-year-old Canadian claims to have been out of the body for 42 years since the day he nearly died at the age of five. According to Akamesis, despite the fact that this phenomenon has been little studied, everyone can do it relatively easily.
Out of body is the sensation of flying outside your body. Some people say that this happens at the moment of transition between life and death, when the "soul" is about to leave the body forever.
This phenomenon was discussed at the 27th annual Glastonbury Symposium on the Paranormal and Conspiracy Theories, which took place in the British city of Somerset.
"How it's done? I have experienced this by chance several times, but how do I learn to do it step by step? " one of the conference participants asked Todd.
“As with any endeavor in life, you have to do what you want,” replied the Canadian, who believes that the “soul” or “astral body,” as opposed to the physical, is capable of traveling the universe.
Of course, there is still no scientific evidence to support the existence of a "soul" or consciousness apart from brain activity in a living human body, or that a "soul" can leave the body and live after death.
“I no longer look at physical reality. This is not just an exit from the body, we are consciousness. We have firmly established ourselves in this reality, but we are not exclusively physical bodies,”Akamesis says, talking about his astral experience.

Todd says he can fly out of the body, look back and look at it, and sometimes he turns around and sees an empty couch as if his body has disappeared. In addition, he can walk through walls and even examine things in neighboring houses. Akamesis attributes these anomalies to "multidimensional reality."
Once during his out of body, he heard a voice that said: "It's okay, your body is on a different level of reality, beyond our reality." And then he added: "Our consciousnesses are connected to each other at the same level."
